The outcome wasn’t what we hoped for, but glad I got to fly out to Colorado from NC to meet my dad for some needed father-son time.
Colorado State wins.
Hauss Hejny looks like a living legend.
Defense did enough.
It’s a good day to be a Ram.

Have been (rightfully) extremely critical of this CSU defense.
Getting 3 late stops, including a pick-six to extend the lead to double-digits before the break is the type of sequence we haven't seen this group pull off in over a month.
That was really nice to see.
I always kept and keep it honest about CSU athletics. Some coaches loved me for it. Some hated me for it. Some players loved me for it; some…not so much. Some fans loved me for it; some couldn’t stand me for it.
And that’s OK.
Go Rams!
Crazy how a single stop can put some self-confidence into a defense. Can the momentum carry past the break?
There are terrible takes. And there are next-level ones like this. Sonny, forgive me for missing the first quarter of a game when I stay up until 2 am on the regular only to have it usually end in defeat.
My wife and I are CSU grads. We usually plan our Saturdays around CSU football games. She asked me today if I was OK if we went hiking Saturday and missed a good chunk of the CSU game.
I said, "OMG, yes, please."

Hello!
If you or someone you know planned to travel to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, for the NC State-Virginia football game, I’d love to hear from you. Working on a financial impact story.

It doesn’t matter what system your defense runs when your players are incapable of tackling.
"We finally have a system. And these guys are finally going to learn how to play defense. It should have happened a long time ago."

Still wearing a CSU shirt today after watching literally the worst defensive performance by this program in 133 years of football.
Why?
Brennan Marion gave CSU the opportunity to not be the most embarrassing college football program in the state for 24 and we had to go and throw it away.
Almost done with the first quarter and Texas State is on track for more than 800 yards of offense against CSU. Rams now down 21-0.
Two of the worst defenses in college football, and we start this game with back to back 3-and-outs. Go figure.
I’ve seen more heart from Hauss Hejny in 2 games than I have from any Colorado State QB since Nick Stevens. The idea he’s milking his injury is asinine.
