Brazil election probabilities moving tighter. Voting has been extended for 2 hours (to 7pm) by the top court due to weather and transportation concerns.

U.S. CPI headline inflation rose to 3.7% year-over-year in September, up from 3.4% in August and above expectations for an increase to 3.6%. Core inflation rose to 2.6%, up from 2.4% and above expectations for an increase to 2.5%. Probabilities for a Federal Reserve rate hike on October 28th increased to 42%, up from 22% yesterday.

The Bank of Canada kept the target rate unchanged at 2.25%, as expected. The Federal Reserve will make their next announcement on September 16th.
