A 31-year-old woman with a rare cancer asked Ontario to cover a treatment that could save her life.
The government’s own experts said yes. Ford’s ministry said no, then blamed the experts.
When Dr. Robin Lennox called that out today, she was thrown out of the legislature.
Instead, wouldn’t you rather just have had a classroom with less that 33 kids? Or a doctor for your kids?? Or an open ER? Or Nurses?…Or…

The Health Minister kept saying experts make these decisions. Then the experts said yes to Sabrina, and the answer was still no. Robin got thrown out for asking why. Maybe spend less time blaming the experts and more time approving her treatment.

Liberal MPP Tyler Watt said that he is very proud of the students for calling out the government and the colleges and universities minister.
“His response has been pathetic. He’s not being honest about this,” said Watt. “He won’t even acknowledge the fact that he let this go on for years before taking action.”
Watt said the government is trying to shift the focus to the action they are taking against fraud now, rather than what went on since the police warning in 2023.

Solidarity with students across the province who are walking out of their schools today to protest Doug Ford’s cruel cuts to OSAP and post-secondary funding.
We’re calling on the government to reinstate OSAP immediately. Students in Ontario should not be worried about paying the rent because their OSAP funds are frozen.

Academy of Learning received $219 million in OSAP funding in 2024-25, despite repeated warnings of potential fraud.
We now know thousands of OSAP applications were submitted from a single IP address the following year.
Today, I asked how much more taxpayer money went to Academy of Learning in 2025-26.

NEW: The Ford government now says it is willing to "consider" releasing portions of the KPMG audit into the private career colleges sector, under select conditions.
"If there are opportunities to release information from the KPMG audit that do not compromise a potential OPP investigation, an Auditor General investigation or the ministry's efforts to obtain evidence, recover funds and hold bad actors accountable, we will consider doing so."

Sabrina is 31 and fighting a rare, aggressive cancer. For weeks, Health Minister Sylvia Jones has said doctors decide whether patients like her get treatment outside the country.
Now we know two medical experts and Ontario’s own health agency said yes to Sabrina, and it was the Minister’s own ministry that said no.
Cancer patients shouldn’t have to fight their own government just to get care.
Doug Ford must reverse this decision and give Sabrina a chance at life today.
