final #LIFF2024 film was sho miyake's ALL THE LONG NIGHTS and what an absolute delight it was a gentle, empathetic and patient story of hope and understanding that I needed so badly in my current state easily one of my favourite films of the year

#ANORA was EVERYTHING I wanted from sean baker and more fell in love during the opening third and then road the rollercoaster all the way to the end simultaneously the funniest film I've seen this year whilst also being bitterly tragic ez ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ for me

felt the same about #Smile2 that I did about the first: its an effective and moderately entertaining horror that has fantastic sound design and a couple of great set pieces (especially the intro) but I can't help but feel I'll have forgotten it in a couple of years?
