There was a poster on here who unfollowed me, maybe 6 months ago, because I answered her post asking if I thought the GOP would win the mid-terms. I said, no, Trump runs for his base and alienates too many swing voters.
Yes, I voted red in yesterday’s election. Florida stayed red, barely. But I wasn’t wrong about yesterday.
Go ahead. Call me a “panican” and unfollow me because you don’t like or won’t hear an honest answer.
F***ing dumbass.
Tree Hugging Sister… She’s one of my favorite writers on here. A fellow Marine, and her gut reaction to what this scumbag did is shared by me and many, many, call ‘em countless others. Semper fi sister. Well written. As always.

Why the Bible? Because it's a direct encounter with God, simple as that. In a recent post, I share how reading and studying Scripture has became my happy place. I recommend starting with the Gospel of Luke. Read it here:

I continue to share my faith journey. I recognize it's not of interest to many, but I'll persist. This blog post is about my/our love for the Bible. #Catholic #BibleLover #BibleStudy #CatholicMass #DailyDevotions

#LGM My post about the NY Mets got a lot of attention. I don't agree with the player haters and blow it all up crowd. I don't agree the Mets are stuck with Polanco and Semien. If ownership decides to move on, they will. I'd give Alvy, Baty, and Mauricio more time and better/different developmental support. I don't hate Vientos, he just seems the odd man out because his defensive flexibility is limited. If you hate those guys, fine. I don't.
My thoughts about the Mets moving forward. I'm not a scout, nor do I care at all about analytics. Sorry, I'm old. Get off my lawn:
1) Pitching. I'd be as happy with adding two solid starters than one high profile, high dollar guy. If they re-sign Clay Holmes, I wouldn't be unhappy, but need one more than that.
2) Infield: Baty, Semien, Vientos, and Mauricio can't all stay. They just can't. Pick the two with the most utility, and move on from the others. Some would like to see the Mets move on from all 4. I don't think that's realistic, but maybe. Personally, if it's 2 of 4, I'd keep Mauricio and Baty.
2a) First base: Sign a power hitting 1B. Can Soto play 1B? I don't know. Sato to Mets? I hope so.
3) Catcher: Alvy has too much potential to move on from, but a whole lot to work on, too. Work on it. Keep Torrens right where he's at.
4) Prospects: If one of them can be this year's Ewing or Benge, break camp with him and see how it goes.

I’ve just started this book. It’s quite nice: inspirational, informative, prayerful, and an interesting perspective, coming from a Rabbi convert to Christianity.
Have a blessed Sunday, friends. God bless.
