I guess I better make one of these... Hi, I'm MattyK, aka @Mattyrogue. Occasional harasser of MrBubblez. I don't really stream. You might find some VR content in my feed on occasion, some Battletech, and random British banter and snark.

I haven't seen anyone else do this or say they did it. So here's a recording of the lullaby of the #FuralitySomna critters that were a top of the central tower for anyone to enjoy.

I don't post on here often anymore, but I have to say, #Furality Somna invoked feelings I haven't felt since the days of Chouchou in Second Life, just something about the ambience and the aesthetic, it put me completely at ease, even despite my immense social anxiety.

If you like playing Helldivers 2 then you will like the Roughnecks: Starship Troopers Chronicles cartoon series. Way better adaptation of the book than the movies but sadly never get a proper conclusion for its story arcs.

These Commission Scam Bots are getting real old, real fast.

People regularly ask me, "Matty, how do you identify the scam bots?" Same way I've identified phishing scam bots for the last eight years; a complete lack of originality and boilerplate responses. No artist worth their salt would contact you first with a commission offer.

I had the privilege of playing some Battletech: Alpha Strike with a friend at #furcation2023 over the weekend. Glad to put my painted miniatures to use, even if they are "just" primed. XD

So it's been a few months since my last #battletech related post actually... Well, I was in Ireland for nearly two weeks, and finally put some of my painting supplies to use in the lull. Zenithal primed an Inner Sphere Direct Fire Lance as a test and it looks damn good already!

Base: Chaos Black rattlecan primer from GW. Zenithal: Monument Hobbies Titanium White Used a commonly available powder brush. Any career painters out there have any recommendations on what acrylics /not/ to use for priming? I got some TW from the MontMarte Signature line.

Just your daily reminder that #NeosVR was featured on Channel 4's "Sex Actually". The community loved it, as cringe as it was. But no, all that work, and now instead we have DeFi Crypto Staking Gaming without customizable avatars in a prebaked Unreal demo. wtf.

Mech stuff mech stuff mech stuff #battletech Need to paint these guys beyond their primers, anyone got any good advice? I've been looking at #armypainter's Speedpaints 2.0 contemplatively, but I haven't painted miniatures in like two decades.

Well, my ethically-sourced plastic crack addiction is slowly growing... Picked up Alpha Strike and a Clan Heavy Striker Star for my birthday (it was on the 8th) and added it to my existing collection... Now I just need to get paints and actually start doing this hobby for real.

Hahah, yes, fail, fail at my two-year-old MMC Honourable Mention in #NeosVR... I swear, whenever I open a Parkour Park Redux world, it turns into carnage, watching people fall, fail, and admit a fear of heights. And yet, at the same time, they still continue to try...

You know, I used to check my notifications on Twitter almost zealously, but given the recent tendency for Twitter to consider 'highlights' and 'recommendations' as notifications, I've opted not to. I apologize if I miss anything actually 'notification-worthy'.
