The GRU hacked into Jared Kushner's iPhone. Dutch military intelligence (MIVD) then recruited a GRU spy who gave them access to the hacked phone. What MIVD discovered was that Kushner had access to two bank accounts --one Azerbaijani, the other Israeli --where Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and Emirati ruler Mohammed bin Zayed deposited money. It sounds like a slightly far-fetched episode of "Slow Horses," but it's real. And it proves just how eye-poppingly corrupt this administration was and continues to be as its "special envoy" decides the fate of tens of millions in Europe in the Middle East. Simply incredible reporting by Matthew Cole, drawn from his new book on Kushner. vanityfair.com/story/jared-k…

Venezuela has become a merger of two kleptocracies: the Trump criminal syndicate married to the corrupt military holdovers from the Maduro regime, who have been bought off.

Jen Gerson: Can we put separatist madness to bed, now? open.substack.com/pub/thelin…
@jengerson has spoken on this (and many other issues) with consistent wisdom and intellectual integrity (unlike Danielle Smith). Gerson has become my go-to source to get an authentic and balanced Alberta voice on this issue. Money quote:

I would say both the Rays AND Brewers play a style very similar to the 2025 Jays. Problem is that Toronto didn't have the depth to sustain it when injuries began to pile up this year

Even if 1 in 4 Albertans who voted wanted to start a process, only a third who did explicitly did so because they want an independent Alberta.

I get that people can have different political philosophies. What I fail to understand is how Republicans can continue to tolerate this never-ending spiral of corruption in the Trump Administration. Yes, he's not the first dirty politician, but the scale of his Administration's grift is historically unprecedented
