Watching Studio 2 come alive means more to me than just setting up a studio. I designed the space and was involved in every step of the process. I also conceptualized the logo, which Dark Figure designed, and LEDlux Ghana brought to life through our subtle signage. It’s fulfilling to see an idea take shape, one detail at a time. – at Accra, Ghana

China’s People’s Liberation Army Navy hospital ship, AUSPICIOUS ARK (Hull 868), has arrived at Tema Port to begin a seven-day humanitarian medical mission in Ghana under Mission Harmony 2026.
The mission, which runs until October 30, 2026, will provide medical services to the public and facilitate professional exchanges between Ghanaian and Chinese military medical personnel.
The visit marks the first reported arrival of a Chinese naval hospital ship in Ghana.

There is no shame in admitting that you cannot do something.
Think about David when he was going to fight Goliath.
It was his first time facing a man of Goliath’s stature, even though he had fought a lion and a bear before.
Saul gave him his armour, and David tried it on. But he couldn’t move comfortably in it, so he took it off.
He didn’t say, “Let me manage. Let me pretend I know what I’m doing so nobody thinks I’m inexperienced.”
No. He put it aside and went with what he knew.
And he killed Goliath.
Now, imagine if David had insisted on using Saul’s armour just to prove that he could. He would have gone into that battle with something that wasn’t suited to him.
Sometimes, the problem isn’t that you lack the ability to win. It’s that you’re trying to win with what doesn’t work for you.
Let’s bring this home.
Someone asks you to edit a video using Adobe Premiere Pro. You’ve never used it before, but you’re familiar with CapCut, InShot and other editing apps.
Instead of pretending you know Premiere Pro and delivering a terrible job, why not say, “I’m not familiar with Premiere Pro yet, but I can deliver this using CapCut”?
If the task requires Premiere Pro specifically, be honest about your current limitations and be willing to learn. But if the goal is to deliver a beautiful video and CapCut can get the job done, use what you know.
There is a difference between being incapable and being unfamiliar with a tool.
And as you grow in life, you must learn to recognise that difference.
You want to get to the top, so you keep saying yes to everything. Can you do this? Yes. Can you handle that? Yes. Can you deliver this? Yes.
Meanwhile, you have no idea how to do half the things you’ve agreed to.
And when you eventually fail to deliver, you damage the very reputation you’re trying to build. People become reluctant to recommend you because they can no longer trust your word.
Listen, admitting that you don’t know something doesn’t make you less capable. It gives you room to learn, improve and make better decisions.
David went on to fight many more battles. He didn’t remain the young shepherd who fought Goliath. He grew into a king and a warrior.
You, too, will grow. You will learn new tools, acquire new skills and become capable of handling things you cannot handle today.
But you don’t have to pretend you’ve arrived when you’re still learning.
So, my word for you this weekend is simple: learn to put it aside.
Put aside what you cannot handle yet. Be honest about what you know. Use what you have mastered when it can get the job done, and learn what you need to learn for the next level.
You don’t have to prove that you can do everything.
Sometimes, wisdom is knowing what to put aside so you can win the battle in front of you.

You tell someone “I missed you,” and all they reply with is an emoji. We’re becoming a generation that has forgotten the beauty of real communication.

There is a level of intimacy with God that changes the way heaven responds to your life. Beyond church attendance, beyond religious activity, beyond titles and public appearances, there is a depth reserved for those who genuinely love Him. When you stop seeking God merely for what is in His hand and begin seeking Him for who He is, you discover that His presence is greater than every promise and His heart is worth more than every reward.

I’m concerned about how some foodstuffs, especially smoked fish, are handled and displayed for sale. Food safety should never be compromised.
@FDA_officials, we need stricter enforcement of food handling and hygiene standards to protect public health. Safe food is a right.

“We’ve built everywhere; this is a concrete jungle. In many countries there are green spaces that soak up water, but in Accra there’s nowhere.” — President John Dramani Mahama warned, pointing to unchecked development as a driver of worsening flooding in the capital.
Speaking on his return to Ghana, he said the loss of green spaces and encroachment on wetlands and waterways have reduced the city’s capacity to absorb floodwaters.
