The first 27 pages, the age is listed as 0.
The first 27 pages.
Of 1,500 pages.
Each one a person. An entire universe.
Imagine a document 1,560 pages long, listing the names of over 50,000 people killed in just a year & a half.
Imagine more than 15,500 of those names on the list were children.
Imagine that you had to get to page 28 on that document to get to the end of the list of babies aged ZERO.
You don't have to imagine it... this document exists.

Today, the Labor and Liberal parties teamed up to gag debate on the Criminal Code Amendment (Hate Crimes) Bill 2025, a bill that implements mandatory minimum sentencing, in direct contravention of the Labor Platform. The Duopoly’s disregard for democracy has been displayed so frequently, it isn’t even shocking anymore.

this move by @JasonClareMP & the @arc_gov_au is outrageous. Our grants and work cannot be subjected to this political interference. All academics, our universities (@Macquarie_Uni) & associations (@AustSoc) need to stand up against these attacks.

Point to where Randa has been "anti-Jewish" once, you spineless, dangerous liar. This brilliant Palestinian woman works closely with anti-Zionist Jews, like all of us who support the resistance movement. You're a gutless ghoul who won't even turn on your replies 🤬
After nine months of sitting on his hands, Education Minister Jason Clare has bowed to Coalition demands to take action over @Macquarie_Uni academic, Dr Abdel-Fattah, whose anti-Israel activism is being supported by a taxpayer-funded $870,269 research grant.
This is more weakness of leadership from the Albanese government.
Australian taxpayers should not be funding activism or hate speech under the guise of so-called research.
That is why I wrote to the minister last April requesting he intervene and withdraw this grant.
Despite Dr Abdel-Fattah encouraging children to chant anti-Jewish terrorist slogans at a @Sydney_Uni protest, appearing to support the Hamas terrorist attack, being involved in the Jewish doxing scandal and denouncing Israel’s right to exist, Jason Clare disgracefully did nothing.
@arc_gov_au and @Macquarie_Uni also failed to take this seriously - their investigation was a farce and they found no basis to act.
Now that Dr Abdel-Fattah has admitted to ‘bending rules” on her ARC grant and refusing to cite “anybody who has remained silent over Gaza”, finally we see some action.
This research fiasco shows Labor’s decision to remove ministerial discretion from taxpayer-funded research grants was grossly irresponsible and not in the national interest.
An “anti-racism” symposium at @QUT provided Dr Abdel-Fattah and other activists with the opportunity to spread anti-Jewish hate and division which is why I pre-emptively asked vice-chancellor Margaret Sheil to cancel this event.
It is a terrible indictment on the Albanese government that anti-Semitism continues to fester and flourish at Australian universities.

In the wake of a terrifying antisemitic incident re the caravan, many on the right have already started making jabs at the ALP, writers festivals, Universities, despite no connection.
So I’ll say it again, stop exploiting antisemitism and Jews for your own political agenda
My article today in @GuardianAus about how Peter Dutton’s use of the Jewish community as political footballs, to spread bigotry, makes all of us less safe.
Murdoch can’t force me to stop calling out Dutton and the LNP for fueling racism!

Current ICC rules also preclude a nation from holding Test status where they fail to have a competing women’s international team but y’know, details, details…
Replying to @cricinfo
Current ICC rules are unable to recognise them as an international side, but the players are hopeful this is a first step towards being able to represent their country.

Our work is not done!
A ceasefire is only the most important first step to end the genocide against the 2.3 million Palestinians in Gaza.
Without massive pressure, it may constitute a continuation of a less visible form of genocide that Israel and the US hope will provoke less regional and global outrage, boycotts and sanctions.
Boycott and pressure these companies now for their complicity in Israel’s occupation, apartheid and genocide against Palestinians.
