I've come to believe that one of the greatest myths Americans are taught from childhood is American exceptionalism.
We're told America is the greatest, freest, and most prosperous country on Earth. The shining example the rest of the world supposedly envies.
Let's look at some facts.
According to the FBI, America's murder rate fell to 4.1 per 100,000 people in 2025. That's a significant improvement, yet still roughly 4.7 times the EU's 2024 homicide rate.
The United States incarcerates people at several times the rate of most Western European countries. School shootings remain a recurring national tragedy.
Meanwhile, millions of Europeans enjoy affordable healthcare, accessible higher education, stronger worker protections, paid leave, and comprehensive privacy protections.
And despite decades of immigration, including from the Middle East, Europe's homicide rates remain dramatically lower than America's.
Yet Americans are constantly told nobody enjoys greater freedom or opportunity.
And that brings me to MAGA.
I see a movement increasingly defined by ultranationalist rhetoric, with deeply concerning influences from white nationalism and Christian nationalism.
A movement where questioning the national mythology is treated as betrayal.
The responses to my posts have been revealing.
MAGA accounts repeatedly accuse me of being a bot, despite the fact that my X account is publicly ID-verified.
Others call me a traitor.
A traitor to what, exactly?
I'm a U.S. Army veteran who served his country. I live abroad, exercise my constitutional right to free speech, and advocate for Americans to enjoy better healthcare, education, public safety, and individual freedoms.
Which part of that constitutes treason?
Meanwhile, their president has reopened Russian diesel imports, with the first shipment reportedly heading toward New York.
His administration's negotiations with Moscow have also included a proposed multibillion-dollar acquisition of Russian-owned Lukoil assets involving investors with business connections to his family and senior negotiators.
Where's the outrage over those dealings with Russia?
I'm not negotiating business arrangements with Moscow. I'm not facilitating Russian energy purchases. I'm not participating in proposed transactions involving Russian oil assets.
I'm an American living in Europe who wants better living conditions for his fellow Americans.
And somehow, I'm the traitor?
Here's what I've learned.
Patriotism isn't blind allegiance to a politician, a political movement, or a national mythology.
It's having the courage to recognize your country's shortcomings and demand better.
America has accomplished extraordinary things. But believing that makes it inherently superior to every other nation isn't patriotism. It's exceptionalism turned into dogma.
You cannot improve a country when you've been conditioned to believe it has already achieved perfection.
And criticizing America because you want it to improve doesn't make you a traitor.
It makes you an American exercising the very freedoms you were taught to cherish.

RFK Jr: The polio vaccine “killed many, many more people” than polio ever did.
What absolute garbage
I still can't believe he said this
EL-SAYED: I get that the President takes personal offense to my first name. He doesn't mind as much when it's the Saudis who are funding his son-in-law's private equity. Doesn't seem to mind as much when it's the Qataris who are giving them a $400 million private jet. He just seems to have trouble pronouncing it when it's my name.
I don't care how he pronounces my name. I don't even care that he remembers my whole name. Because he can just go on and call me senator after November.

November 2020? That is the giveaway.
The first American outside a clinical trial received a COVID vaccine on December 14, 2020.
So how exactly did CDC “know what injuries the shots would cause” a month before anyone in the U.S. had received one?
They didn’t.
The document was a prospective safety watch list — myocarditis, seizures, stroke, Guillain-Barré, pregnancy outcomes, death and other serious conditions that regulators planned to monitor after vaccination began.
That is called pharmacovigilance.
You decide what signals to watch before rollout so you can detect whether they occur above background afterward.
And V-safe did not stop at seven days. It checked daily for a week, then weekly through six weeks, then again at 3, 6 and 12 months.
So the “bombshell” is that CDC planned vaccine-safety surveillance before vaccines were given.
Apparently preparedness is now evidence of foreknowledge. Oh my - we are prophets
Aaron Siri uncovered a bombshell internal document proving the CDC knew exactly what injuries the Covid shots would cause all the way back in November 2020.
“Myocarditis.”
“Pericarditis.”
“Seizures.”
“Tinnitus.”
Bookmark this.
“All the things we ended up seeing were on that list.”
Then, they covered up those findings in their design documents for V-Safe, the safety survey that was sent to 10 million Covid shot recipients.
“They could have put things like myocarditis on it, or at least chest pain.”
“Did they do that?”
“No.”
“None of those conditions nor their symptoms ended up on that list.”
“When the CDC was publishing all their studies saying Covid-19 vaccines were safe, the first 40 studies… they didn’t publish beyond the first week of the seeking medical care data.”
“They only published the first week.”
But it’s “well-known” that many adverse events from vaccines occur “after the first week of getting the shot.”
“If you’re going to have a seizure from an MMR vaccine, it’s not going to happen in the first week.”
“Yet they only reported the first week of medical-seeking behavior.”
After “two lawsuits” and “almost two years,” Siri finally obtained “all of that check-the-box data.”
“7.7% reported seeking medical care.”
“On average, two to three times each.”
“Over 70% of them reported seeking urgent care.”
“Emergency room.”
“Hospitalization.”

Elon Musk is promoting a video that rewrites the history of Nazism to suit today’s far right. Here’s what happened in 1933, who made the video, and why it matters.
Within weeks of Hitler taking power in January 1933, the organised left was being dismantled.
Communists, Social Democrats and trade unionists were rounded up, and Dachau opened in March, initially to imprison political opponents, above all Communists.
On 2 May the Nazis smashed the independent trade unions and replaced them with the state-controlled German Labour Front. A week later, students burned the works of Marx and Kautsky, with a fire oath declaring itself “against class struggle and materialism”.
Dachau’s first murders came on 12 April 1933, when the SS shot four Jewish prisoners: Rudolf Benario, Ernst Goldmann, Arthur Kahn and Erwin Kahn. Benario and Goldmann were young left-wing activists from Fürth.
The very rich were treated differently. Many industrialists had feared the Nazis were socialists, so in January 1932 Hitler addressed Düsseldorf’s Industry Club, playing down his antisemitism and stressing his anti-Marxism to reassure them. Few backed him openly until he took power.
On 20 February 1933, Hitler met leading industrialists, Gustav Krupp among them, and told them: “Private enterprise cannot be maintained in the age of democracy.” It was conceivable, he said, only where people had “a sound idea of authority and personality”. They contributed more than two million Reichsmarks to the election fund of Hitler’s coalition.
Private ownership was preserved for compliant industrialists, company profits rose sharply, and in the mid-1930s the regime even sold state stakes in banks, steelworks and shipping back into private hands.
In 1934, Hitler also had members of his own movement who took its anti-capitalist rhetoric seriously murdered during the Night of the Long Knives.
Yes, the Nazis controlled prices, wages and investment, as Britain did in wartime. State control tells you how an economy is run, and the question that matters is whom it serves.
The Nazi state crushed independent labour, protected compliant employers, and harnessed the economy to rearmament and conquest.
That is why historians place Nazism on the far right, including conservatives such as Ernst Nolte, who saw anti-Marxism as fascism’s defining feature.
The word in the party’s name was largely a recruiting device, designed to lure workers away from the real socialist and communist parties. A name settles nothing, any more than North Korea’s makes it democratic.
The man Musk is amplifying is Brivael Le Pogam, the Paris-based co-founder of Argil, a Silicon Valley-backed company selling AI video avatars, who boasts of using AI to win hundreds of millions of views.
His self-described “masterclass” spends minutes on price controls and the voting habits of American professors. It never once mentions the Holocaust. Race appears once, as “fuel”.
He is candid about why. With Hitler on the right, he complains, anyone defending “borders” or “the nation” is “one step away from fascism”. That is “why Milei is far right” and “why people call Elon Musk a Nazi”.
A nationalist politics is to be cleansed by relabelling history’s most murderous nationalist.
He even cites Leo Strauss’s “reductio ad Hitlerum”, the fallacy of condemning an idea because Hitler held it, and then commits it from start to finish. And his test of freedom is simply the free market, which would place Pinochet’s Chile, with its torture and disappearances, on the side of freedom.
So the world’s richest man is promoting an attempt to free the far right from its own history, turning the Nazis’ first victims into props for their persecutors.
History records which side Germany’s richest men chose in 1933. It’s worth noticing who is now keen to blur it.
It’s polished, confident and wrong, and it’s built to divide: anyone who objects is cast as the enemy of freedom. Freedom for whom?
Remember who filled Dachau first.

Met a young woman diagnosed with early-stage breast cancer.
She had a real chance of being cured.
But someone promised her a “100% natural cancer cure.” No chemotherapy. No surgery. Just herbal remedies and miracle therapies.
She believed them.
Months passed. Her cancer spread.
Today, she has Stage IV breast cancer.
A potentially curable disease became metastatic while she was being sold false hope.
And the people who misled her?
Still running their so-called “cancer healing centres.”
Meanwhile, qualified doctors who spend 10–15 years studying medicine face endless scrutiny and regulation.
Regulate doctors. Absolutely. But who is holding these fake cancer healers accountable?
This isn’t alternative medicine.
This is exploitation of vulnerable patients.
India needs stronger action against fraudulent cure claims.
False hope should never be allowed to steal someone’s chance of survival.
