The selection of Ben Stokes as ICC Test cricketer of the year won't please those who base everything on numbers, but some people are worth more than statistics. Stokes provided leadership, he is greater than the sum of his parts, & he transformed the style of the English team.
Devastated, such a talented group of players – at Melbourne, Victoria
Unfortunately todays play has been called off due to the weather and the match is a draw.
Congratulations to @ccc1886 who will progress into the Semi Final round, who finished the group stage in a higher position than us.

Bag of seven wickets for Ormond's Rodney Bird in @subbiescricket on Saturday, giving him 21 wickets for the season and 282 since joining the Monders in 2013-14. He turns 41 next month; maybe he'll play forever.

Unfortunately we fall to @elsternwickcc in our last Craig Shield round match. We were bowled out for 92, which @elsternwickcc chased 2 wickets down.
Congratulations to all the players and coaches for progressing through to the finals, our 8th appearance in the last 10 years!
