Det är kul att via nätverk, bekantskaper, och kanaler avstyra att personer from @liberalerna får inbjudningar till träffar, events, och konferenser i Europa. Jag har redan avstyrt en sådan inbjudan till ett event som jag inte tänker namnge om de inte själva vill tillkännage det.

Dipping into reading about the #UkraineWar and it strikes me that the propagandists in #Russia wanted to follow a modern Peter the Great in Putin. Instead they got Nicolai II. Russian TV is even full of Rasputins too.

That said, the candidate for PM is about as competent as Boris Johnson. And as well liked as Rees-Mogg. And one of our two liberal parties are essentially falling apart and imploding. I think we're heading for a new election.
I was at a dinner today, and someone admitted to liking Ayn Rand. I don't know about you, but that kind of thing shouldn't be admitted in public. It's the equivalent of raising your voice, clinking the glass, and intoning "I have a leaky urethra that discarge smelly liquids."

On Sunday, Sweden has the opportunity to join the reefer mad right of the USA, the morally bereft right of the UK, the ideologically vacuous right of Germany, or the insane right of France. Or we'll squeak by with a hobbled centre-left government. #svpol
With Liz Truss being the new UK prime minister, maybe the UN should appoint India or Kenya to go in and teach the UK how to govern themselves. Maybe teach them how to build trains and stuff, and develop industry.

I am babysitting a dog this weekend. As a cat person, I worry that it will soon realize that I'm mostly made of meat and I'm full of bones. Do dogs always use the entire kitchen floor as their plate?
