Restore Britain Candidate for Penn Hill
Residents of Penn Hill
Hello, I'm Max Walker.
Three months ago, I received a members’ email from Restore Britain Southern Region, asking whether I would be prepared to stand as a candidate in the Penn Hill by-election.
My reply was simple: “I'll do it.”
Like so many people, I had spent years discussing my frustrations with the direction of British politics and the decisions being made on behalf of ordinary families and businesses.
I decided that rather than simply talk about change, I wanted to become actively involved.
As a father of four with 35 years in business, I bring practical experience and a belief that public representatives should listen to the people they serve.
I joined Restore Britain because I share Rupert Lowe's commitment to greater accountability, stronger communities, support for British businesses and a political system that puts the interests of the British people first.
Here in Penn Hill, my ten-point programme concentrates on practical local matters: protecting the car park, improving road safety, tackling obstructive parking, maintaining roads and pavements, protecting green spaces, scrutinising development and ensuring residents have a meaningful voice in council decisions. These are the issues I have been raising throughout the campaign.
With polling day tomorrow - Thursday 5 November, our local campaign team and myself, have had a busy programme of visits to shops and offices, leaflet distribution and conversations with residents. I have also been spending time around Penn Hill car park and the local school-run areas, listening to people's concerns first-hand.
I believe political movements grow through ordinary conversations and the willingness of people to become involved in their communities.
Thank you to everyone who has already offered their time, encouragement and support.
I look forward to meeting more of you and sharing what we can create and learn from this campaign.
Tell one person and they tell twenty...Win their Hearts and Minds. If we can convince say 2000 locals, that will give our Local Party 40,000 more members, and this viral community expansion is how Restore Britain can move into Government.

We are not racist, but our people come first.
Would you give all your wages and savings away to feed the less fortunate, allowing your own family to starve?
Of course you would not, no matter how righteous and generous you wanted to be. There is always a limit for you to determine and that does not make you a racist, and it is the same for the policies of RESTORE BRITAIN.
Our people first and that is all we can afford.
We know where to draw the line, just like you, but you are unlikely to acknowledge that, and just want to deal us your trending racist-claim card.
Hi, I'm Max Walker.
I've lived on Canford Cliffs Road for more than twenty-two years. I've raised my family here, and I care about Restoring Britain. I don’t wear a lanyard and pin badges on my jacket, or publish pictures of my family with a big fluff dog.
I am new to Politics and want to be a councillor, to listen to my community and make a real difference, both Regionally and Nationally.
Restore Britain were the only and obvious party that made sense, not just for me, but for you the voter.
Penn Hill has many independent shops, cafes and familiar neighbourhood streets. What makes an area special is the everyday things: getting about, looking after shared spaces, reducing crime with over 500 last year just in our area, and being heard in the Town Hall, particularly if the BCP Council are making decisions and spending our money without public consent, or real accountability.
Then there are the practical issues of daily life: school-run parking, road and pavement repairs, blocked drains, lighting, parks, and supporting our local shops. These issues may sound small compared with a council budget, but they matter as they affect local people every day.
The Penn Hill by-election is on Thursday the fifth of November. Polling stations are open from seven in the morning until ten at night.
It is time to put Restore Britain to the test...as all other political parties have failed you, sucking away your salary, pension and savings to fund failed Government policies and excessive spending.
Vote Restore Britain this Thursday and see what new Party Politics can do for you.
Thank you
Max Walker

Most MP's and Councillors have failed you for many years...sucking away at your Wages, Pensions and Savings, to fund awful self-centred non-democratic decisions, and accumulating huge debts with failed Local and National Government Policies.

BCP Procurement accountability
The July Audit and Governance Committee reported 19 financial-regulation breaches associated with £48.3 million of transactions in 2025/26, alongside 133 reportable procurement decision records worth £21.2 million. These are transaction values, not proven financial losses.
The council reports 'additional training and control measures', while acknowledging the possibility of under-reporting.

Poole Park — Vehicle Access, Rights and Costs
Whitecliff vehicle entrance remains permanently restricted.
The May 2024 public consultation received 5,392 responses.
Approximately 63% opposed the closure and 36% supported it.
Cabinet nonetheless approved the permanent restriction unanimously, relying also on environmental, access and safety assessments.

I personally find it sickening how much Lib Dem councillors, leading BCP Council to bankruptcy, have awarded themselves in pay rises over the last three years...
Since 2023 they have given themselves:
💰 A 31.8% pay rise for the Lib Dem leader of the council,
💰 a 23.6% increase for their portfolio holders,
💰 and a 10.67% increase on top for their councillors allowance.
