Terra Industries has signed a commercial agreement with Promethean Resources to deploy our autonomous surveillance systems to protect Promethean's personnel and mining assets in Nigeria.
The agreement was signed in New York at the Nigeria-U.S. Strategic Investment Dialogue on the sidelines of UNGA81, in the presence of the Honourable Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment, @joduwole and the @USChamber.
Mining operators run critical assets in places with thin security coverage and long response times. Our systems will give Promethean persistent surveillance across its sites, so we can autonomously spot threats early, respond faster and keep people safe.
This partnership supports the goals of the U.S.–Nigeria Critical Minerals Framework Agreement, including more processing in Nigeria, more skilled jobs and lasting benefits for host communities. We're proud to help turn that framework into results on the ground.
