A few weeks ago, when I posted a statement by Hon. (Dr.) Musa Iliyasu Kwankwaso claiming that NDC Vice-Presidential candidate Sen. Rabi’u Kwankwaso was working for the APC/Tinubu, I was faced with a barrage of ridiculing questions. Some people even threw jibes at either me, who posted the statement, or him, who made the statement.
Just take a look at his birthday message. He thanked President Bola Ahmed Tinubu first after mentioning Almighty God. He then appreciated four other people before eventually acknowledging Peter Obi. This is more than enough to suggest that Musa Iliyasu Kwankwaso isn’t spewing propaganda.
Every move or action by Kwankwaso is vindicating Musa Iliyasu Kwankwaso’s claims and statements about him, and, in turn, deepening my understanding of the rationale behind people fondly calling him “Likitan Siyasa.”
I wonder why these people, including Obi himself, have failed to understand that Kwankwaso is working for the success of our party, the APC, and that he is just deceiving them. In my book, he simply wants to take advantage of them, re-consolidate his political posture, and increase his level of acceptance in the South-East ahead of 2031.
But wait, doesn’t the Nigerian Correctional Service allow conjugal visits? El-Rufai could use an hour or two with his spouse instead of coming out to disgrace himself in court like this.
