Mutual shielding: attack each other publicly, weaponise each other’s documented abuses, flood every accusation with “what about them?”, and make selective accountability look like proof that no accusation or data point can be trusted. It works by exploiting distrust and information overload. It targets people who know abuses occurred but lack the time or context to separate each case. Every fact gets answered with another atrocity or crime until audiences stop asking “is this true?” and start believing everyone lies, everyone is guilty and accountability is meaningless.
