Wizkid didn’t attend Zlatan’s wedding but his song was played to lit up the hall, he wasn’t present at the Ballon D’Or ceremony but his song was played to spice up the venue, your absence don’t matter when your achievement speaks for you 🔥

Every conversation about Nigerian artistes revolves around Wizkid.
If a Nigerian artiste drink water drop cup, Wizkid must do the same
If a Nigerian artiste shlt for bush, Nigerians will ask why didn’t Wizkid do the same
If Nigeria is crumbling, why is Wizkid is not there to savw it

What is the big deal attending the ballon d’or? Wasn’t Adekunle gold & Rema also present there? So you think if Wizkid wants to be there, he won’t go?
Drake & so many big acts around the world has never for once attended ballon d’or but here you are trying to troll Wizkid or make it a big deal😂
Hype your fave who needs more exposure in peace and please and leave Wizkid out of it.

You can’t keep using Wizkid as the standard to measure everybody else’s greatness and still pretend he’s not THE STANDARD! 😂🦅
Every time another artist achieves something, somehow Big Wiz must enter the conversation. At what point do you realize that constantly comparing others to him is an indirect acknowledgment of his greatness?
You can’t celebrate their wins without mentioning his name, yet you want to question his relevance? 😂
Even in silence, Big Wiz remains the reference point. That’s influence. That’s legacy. THAT’S BIG WIZ! 🦅❤️

Y’all need to make peace with the fact Wizkid might not like attending Award ceremonies.
Wizkid has not attended any Award ceremony since his appearance at The Headies Awards in 2021 and even that event, Headies Organizers had to send a Private Jet to pick him up in Ghana.
He has won 6 MOBO Awards and he has never received the award in person on stage, he wasn’t present the night he was the most prestigious music award “Grammy”, he wasn’t present when he won VMA, AMA, SoulTrain, NAACP Awards.
Made In Lagos and Essence won over 20 Awards and he was never present to receive any of these Awards in person.
It’s not gimmick, that’s who he is or who he has become, make peace with it and leave him alone.
