I just finished reading The Wheel Spins by Ethel Lina White. Absolutely loved it. It keeps you gripped from the very first page and you feel yourself being put into Iris's shoes as the story progresses and she's made out to be a liar or quite mad 5 ⭐📖 #finishedreading #books

In her review of Dorothy Richardson’s Pilgrimage, May Sinclair became the first to use the phrase “stream of consciousness” to describe a work of literature. Beyond its historical value, the piece truly holds up.

For this week's @TheTLS I've written about the @BL_Publishing's Women Writers series, which includes some lost gems like Dorothy Evelyn Smith's 'O, The Brave Music' (1943) and May Sinclair's 'The Tree of Heaven' (1917) the-tls.co.uk/articles/tales…

Any May Sinclair scholars able to confirm this is May Sinclair campaigning for women's Suffrage in 1910? The pics bear more resemblance to Cicely Hamilton than Sinclair, don't you think? @MaySinclairSoc @GreenBowlerHat @DrCDrewery @shaliniseng any help gladly appreciated!

still vibrating from a visitation. The Beresfords & Miss May Sinclair [...] descended upon us from Watergate Bay [...] awoke aghast after they had gone to the realisation that they were both frozen & starved. We forget how hard we get down here. Letter to Edward Garnett 7/2/20
