In this #SacramentoSpotlight, we tour @SMUD_MOSAC & talk with the new Executive Director, Carlos Gonzalez-Jaime!
In the Assembly, I proudly secured over $3 million in state funding for MOSAC to support science, education & innovation in Sac.
Join us in welcoming Carlos! 🥳
We attended the SABA's Annual Velo Ball fundraiser this past weekend!
This non-profit offers many services to the community: bicycle registration, community bike shop, repair workshops & policy advocacy! 🚲
Thanks to @sacbike for raising awareness for safer streets in Sac!
Our inaugural One Sacramento Wiffleball Tournament was a major success, raising funds for the Robin Moore Tiny Homes Grant Program.
Thank you to all the sponsors and congratulations to the winners - Sac Firefighters! @SacFirePIO
In this #KeepingUpWithKevin, we visit the new @RideSacRT 7th & Railyards light rail station. 🚉
The station connects riders to the Railyards, the largest urban infill project in the U.S., which will include housing, @aboutKP medical campus, @SacRepublicFC soccer stadium & more!
We were proud to recognize Kim Stephens as a 2026 Women of Distinction for her lasting contributions to Sacramento!
As founder of the Stephens Foundation in South Sac, Kim dedicates her time & resources to uplifting youth, families & supporting single-parent households.

Cities are on the front lines of the mental health & homelessness crisis, but lack the tools to intervene, leaving 1000s homeless, struggling w/ addiction & mental illness
At Council, we held a behavioral health workshop on State & County programs & services and the City's role.
Winter is coming & @TheCityofSac is ready! 🍂
Leaf season starts Nov. 1 & you’ll start to see the claw collecting leaf piles.
Do your part by filling organic green waste bins before creating piles.
Check the collection calendar on the City’s webpage.

Honored to join Casa Morelia at the Generalísimo Morelos, Servant of the Nation Gala in our beautiful Downtown Plaza Park.
Thank you, President Arnulfo Diaz, for supporting Mexican & Latino immigrant communities across CA w/ cultural preservation, education & community programs.
Thank you, CM Dickinson's team, for joining us for Del Paso Heights Community Association's Bike Fest! 🚵
The day included a bike raffle & free helmets from American River Bike Patrol.
We're lucky to have amazing bike trails & are building even more! 🏞️

In the #KeepingUpWithKevin, we visit the former fire dispatch station in Winn Park! 🏞️
In the Assembly, I helped secure funding to restore this building as part of our ongoing efforts to revitalize our city core!
Tomorrow is your last chance to see Coordinates: Dispatch! 🖼️
Good things come to those who wait!
In this #KeepingUpWithKevin, we attend the ribbon-cutting for the American River Bridge, now complete with bike & pedestrian access.
Come check it out!
Wow, it’s a wrap and @AFTERSHOCKSAC 2026 was amazing!

We saw record breaking 180k attendance, approaching $45M in economic impact.
And I got to show off our local crown jewel, the American River to @DannyWimmerPres.

Powerful @sacbee_news series by Tom Philp on homelessness, addiction & untreated mental illnesses.
This profile of Califia, a Sacramento woman repeatedly failed by CA’s mental health system, is Exhibit A of the struggle to help so many homeless & languishing on our streets.
Cities are on the front lines of this crisis, but lack the tools & authority needed to intervene effectively.
That is why this year I’ll be leading the push w/ @CABigCityMayors for stronger CA laws & compulsory treatment for individuals like Califia.
