Again I don’t want to get involved in this conversation because I feel there is no need for the back and forth, I’m not a woman, so if some woman feels pregnancy is a “death sentence” to them, I believe the right thing to do is to let them be as arguing with them might appear as invalidating their lived experiences, yes I have my reservations but again, there is no need to stretch it, just ignore. But you see this particular POV here is the most illogical opinion I have seen in a while, everything in God’s earth can kill you. Nigeria lose about 6000 people to road accidents every year, is driving a car a “death sentence” People slip in their own house and die, is living inside your house a “death sentence” Many people have died going to work, is working a “death sentence” Malaria claims about 200000 lives annually in Nigeria, 100k more than pregnancy-related maternal mortality, is Malaria a “death sentence” If you say anything that’s not 100% guaranteed safe is “death sentence” can we now agree that even Mother Earth itself is a death sentence? Unregulated woke ideology is a slippery slope.
