“You can't be pro-life and pro-death penalty.” Ok. I'll let the author of Leviticus know. In the meantime, I'm going to continue to make perfectly rational distinctions between unborn babies and serial killers.

There is no coherent Christian argument that the death penalty is immoral. God prescribes it for a whole host of crimes in the Old Testament. So if your position is that it is fundamentally evil to execute someone, then you must be saying either that the Old Testament is not the word of God, or that God was morally confused, or that the inherent morality of the action has changed, rendering vast swaths of Scripture irrelevant. None of those positions are compatible with Christianity. I understand that some Christians try to get around this by claiming that the death penalty was "necessary" a long time ago but isn't necessary anymore. I'm afraid this argument doesn't remotely work. The death penalty is very explicitly prescribed as a matter of JUSTICE in the Bible, not out of "necessity." So, again, either the Bible is just flatly wrong, or God was flatly wrong, or the inherent essence of morality and justice has changed. Basic Christian theology does not leave any of those options open to you.

As Christa Pike, a woman who tortured a girl to death and took a piece of her victim’s skull as a trophy, receives life saving medical treatment following a botched execution, keep something in mind: many states in this country will not give medical treatment to a baby who survives abortion. In fact several states have specifically repealed laws requiring treatment for infants born alive after an abortion. And every single mainstream Democrat in the country opposes any law to protect infants who survive abortions. So this condemned murderer, who earned her execution through her own choices, is getting more humane treatment than infant children who were given a death sentence through no fault of their own. And every Democrat — every single one, no exceptions — empathizes far more with this murderer than with those babies.

We need to send these military geniuses to Ukraine. They seem to believe there is a way of removing an enemy force without civilian casualties. I wish they'd let us in on the secret. It's either that or they are comically stupid bigots.

It bores me (as much as it bores you) to have to write about the Israeli conflict, but I am sick to death of the "Free Palestine" death cult. The reason you can tell Palestine supporters are antisemitic, is because they can muster obscure details about what happened in the region in 1916, 1949 and 1967, but couldn't tell you the first thing about any other regional war or post-imperial injustice - of which there are many. They are simply opposed to Jews having a homeland. What you also notice is that they tend to be far leftists who don't even believe in borders and dispute anybody's right to a homeland (unless they fit the preferred victim criteria). It enrages them that Arabs were driven out (after the war they started), but don't care if Brits are made a minority in Britain. They are as much anti-civilisation and anti-West as they are anti-Israel. I'm not interested in protracted debates about how Israel came about. Most of it was decided and pretty much settled before I was even born. What exists now is a functioning first world democratic state. The troubles there now are the same ones that have been bubbling throughout my lifetime, over what should be done about the Arab enclaves. There are been several opportunities to formalise a state, but each time the hand of compromise has been slapped away by Palestinians, preferring instead to wage a pointless genocidal war of terror on the Jews. Consequently, I have no sympathy for their plight. Gaza could have thrived as a city sate - but they chose death instead. I sometimes think people don't really know what war is. It's that thing when you set out to destroy your enemies. There are several ways of prosecuting a war, but it's usually inadvisable to start one unless you can win it. On that basis, you might think Hamas was pretty dumb to provoke one of the most effective armies in the world, but Hamas aren't stupid. They understand that propaganda is also a weapon of war, by which you can leverage the gullibility and idiocy of people against your enemy. This is quite a costly strategy in that provoking Israel to such an extent was always going to result in a sustained and uncompromising reply. Hamas, of course, knew this but they simply didn't care. They were prepared to sacrifice tens of thousands of their own people, playing the long game, in the somewhat plausible belief that they could turn international opinion against Israel. That has worked a number of times in several wars, and its part of the reason the West could not sustain wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. Israel is different though, because for Israel, it is not a war of choice. It is a fight or die equation where the opinions of others don't come into it. For a time, though, Israel had reason for concern. International public opinion was turning sour - which is still dangerous for them. But I think that's probably over now because we can see Palestine supporters for who and what they are. Every single one of them has outed themselves as a first order moronic bigot who latches on to every other moronic cause. We also see, in Britain particularly, supporters of this cause are also people who would do to us what Hamas did to Jews on 7/10 if they could - and have a track record of trying. It's the same people who've been grooming and raping teenage girls across England. While pro-Palestine demonstrations have been large - often comprised of foreigners and subversives, they are still a minority. Most are just gullible students who will grow out of it eventually when they learn how the real world works. The vast majority of people in the UK don't care all that much. I certainly don't. What Gazans are living through is exactly what they asked for, and far less than they deserve - especially after cheering on the psychopaths who paraded the corpses of the women they raped. One can only admire Israel's restraint. In the end, the war is one of civilisation versus Stone Age barbarism.

Made it through the CCNA exam today! In no small part thanks to the free resources from @JeremysITLab. Between the flash cards and the videos I learned and retained a huge amount. Wearing my hoodie with pride! (Refused to put it on 'till I'd passed!)

I’ve let my kids stay up late the last two nights so we could play board games. On Saturday we played Scrabble until it was an hour past their bedtime and then I decided that we’d have ice cream and watch TV for a while. They were thrilled. This time I spent with my kids wasn’t a “sacrifice” or a burden I heroically shouldered for their sake. I like hanging out with them. They’re smart and funny and fun to be around. Sure they can be annoying sometimes, but anyone can be annoying. I’ve annoyed countless people in my day. Including my kids. If you hate being a parent and actively resent your children, it’s either because you categorically refuse to get out of your own head and put in the minimal effort it requires to develop a real relationship with them, or it’s because you’ve done a really crappy job raising them so now they’re hard to be around. Either way, it’s a you problem. It’s your fault. Not theirs. It’s your responsibility, then, to pretend you don’t hate it. Yes, pretend. Yes, suppress your true feelings. Yes, put on an act. Maintain the facade for your kids, because it’s deeply scarring and unfair to saddle them with your personal issues. And maintain the facade for the public, because frankly we don’t want to have to deal with your narcissistic nonsense either. Your “true self” is unsightly and off putting, and you shouldn’t force anyone to bear witness to it. So fake it til you make it. Act like the kind of parent you should be, until you actually become that parent. Shoulder the burden of your own narcissism silently and with dignity. If you do that, after a while, and by definition, you will no longer be a narcissist. One day you’ll look up and realize that you’re actually not faking it anymore. You really do enjoy giving your time and yourself to those you love. At least that’s how it often works. I don’t know if it will for you or not. But either way, whatever you do, don’t take your failures out on your children.

All too generous. This is a man who would cry racism to destroy careers, and unleash Carter Ruck on people to bankrupt and silence them, and part of the polite society that relishes people being jailed for their opinions. Arday was a serial fraudster and a vindictive predator who checked out because he couldn't handle accountability. Yes, the academic institutions have a lot of introspection to do, for elevating and embracing a grifter, same as the NHS had questions to answer over Harold Shipman, but this is a man who was gaming the system for personal gain, knew exactly what he was doing, and was laughing at us while he was doing it.
Jason Arday’s death saddens me. He was placed in a position that proved hard to defend after the allegations against him went public. Consequently, he became the target of a pile on that occasionally turned nasty. But however nasty they may be, pile ons by themselves don’t usually lead to deaths. I criticised him, those who made him a professor at Cambridge, as well as those who defended him because they saw in him a perfect DEI ambassador. And I stand by my criticisms. He shouldn’t have been placed in such a position. The system that put him there for the reasons it put him there, the system which investigated those who challenged him on very specific grounds, is not innocent in this. We cannot stop criticising and challenging people out of fear they may harm themselves. Sadly, this possibility is always present. People who are more susceptible to self-harm when criticised, shouldn’t be placed in positions where they frequently have to defend their credentials. We all have some introspection to do, although not to the same extent. A 41 year old man died. But the conclusion to draw from this sad story is clearly not that we should stop criticising and challenging people.

Unleashing Carter Ruck is not trivial. It says that the people pulling Arday's strings were heavily invested (financially and reputationally) in the scam and were prepared to spend hundreds of thousands of pounds to silence a critic, perhaps even to the point of bankruptcy and public humiliation, potentially even suicide. They hound you for years, making normal life impossible. They do not now get to pretend they are good people who made a small error. They were corrupt, devious and vindictive.

The only person with blood on their hands when someone commits suicide in circumstances like this is the person who committed suicide. About ten years ago, my uncle committed suicide because his wife left him. Did my aunt have blood on her hands because she left him? No. Is it wrong to criticise Cambridge for making a professor out of a a serial liar, plagiarist, and confidence trickster? No. Should Arday have committed suicide? No. Who is responsible for his suicide? He is. He ruined not only his own life, but the lives of his wife and children. In this situation, suicide is a way of escaping accountability for one's wrongdoings.
I'm sorry but there are a lot of people with blood on their hands here. It's been weeks of abuse and absurd media coverage. They just couldn't stop, determined to beat the man into the ground. Jason Arday wasn't a culture war pawn, he was a fucking human being.

I didn't think they could make ot worse but here we go! They were busy in the arrest of another man, I.e. the victim of the assault!
Replying to @BrumPolice
Please see our latest statement here: orlo.uk/IjjrF
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
The statement that officers were simply "in the area when this assault took place" is a lie. The officer was in full view of the assault, and moved to assault the victim herself as soon as he was thrown to the ground, despite no action being taken by the victim. x.com/KnockoutAudit/… westmidlands.police.uk/news/west-midl…

The rife anti-white filth that has infected Britain goes so much further than the police - that cancer runs much, much deeper. Young white men - treated like dirt exactly because they are white. It is blatant racism, and politicians should have the courage to say so. Our institutions now seem perfectly comfortable judging people by the colour of their skin, provided that skin happens to be white. Universities. Hospitals. Councils. Military. Police. It is EVERYWHERE. White British men are told we are privileged regardless of our circumstances. We are told we should sit quietly by whilst opportunities, resources and funds are deliberately allocated to ethnic minorities. I say no. Enough. This has happened as a white British boy died in the street, begging for help. Ignored and left to die, because an ethnic minority murderer accused him of racism. But outlining the issue is not enough. Not now. No more talk. We need solutions. Identifying the rot is only the beginning. Here is what a Restore Britain Government will do to rip it out. - Repeal the Equality Act 2010 in full, and repeal the laws it replaced, especially the various iterations of the Race Relations Act. Initially sold as a simple non-discrimination duty in public places, these Acts have over time amounted to a series of escalating discriminatory attacks on white people. The 2000 amendment imposed a statutory duty upon public bodies to ‘promote racial equality’ following the MacPherson Report. We’re told this Act supposedly prohibits racial discrimination, but the principles it enshrined in law are now being used to promote racial discrimination against white people. It is unacceptable, and has reached far beyond its original remit. The Equality Act 2010 consolidated all of the previous Race Relations Acts into one anti-white monstrosity. - Repeal all laws which punish ‘racist’ speech, including Part III of the Public Order Act 1986 - which criminalises ‘incitement to racial hatred’. - Repeal law which requires courts to treat racial hostility as an aggravating factor when sentencing offences. - Replace it all with one simple act that ensures every British citizen is equal before the law and positively outlaws anti-white discrimination, so as to prevent activist judges from reading their own prejudices into the law. - Ban race-based, sex-based and religion-based quotas in public bodies and private companies. - Prohibit recruitment schemes restricted to particular ethnic groups. - End mandatory DEI training across government, local authorities, police and NHS bodies. - Ban positive discrimination in hiring and promotion. - Outlaw race-specific graduate schemes and internships. - End taxpayer funding for DEI officers or schemes across the entire public sector. Restore Britain is committed to rooting out all laws, practices, and norms that systematically discriminate against white people. It will end. I promise you that. A Restore Britain Government will restore fairness for all. That includes white people.

Member of Parliament Shabana Mahmood when it’s a black criminal who died of a drug overdose vs an innocent white guy George Floyd: “Regarding protests across the U.S… I share their anger at this unspeakable outrage.” Henry Nowak: “The scenes this evening are completely unacceptable. Those responsible can expect to face the full force of the law.” Unreal
