$VKTX Buy back program ⭐️ There seems to be a lot of confusion around the buyback program announced by $VKTX in March. Here's a few notes to hopefully clarify the situation. $VKTX $LLY $NVO $XBI $ALT $GPCR $MSTR docs.google.com/presentation…

$VKTX Happy Halloween to my fellow $VKTX longs from Barcelona. We've had enough scares with the price action. But just like ghosts & vampires are not real, seems $VKTax itself rarely scares. Great data. FDA fast tracked repeatedly. Multiple suppliers signed up. We wait. $NVO

I'd be horrified to see a CEO I've invested in tweeting like that. How naive and emotional does he look?!

$LLY @DaveARicks : Thanks for the rewteet amigo. $VKTX is definitely open to a partnership. It doesn't need to be a BO. $NVO and $PFE will watch on with envy. And, yes, this is absolutely, exactly how I think investment works on a global scale 🤭
One month (or so) on @X , a platform unlike any other. Energy, speed, smarts and stupidity. -The best thing in BioX - Rapid and divergent takes on new clinical data, on balance usually right..wisdom of crowds -The worst thing on BioX - Shameless replies and reposts pumping your own book, praying for M&A about your favorite name, plane stalking…do people actually think this is how a real drug company or serious investor makes decisions? Maybe it just makes you feel like you have some agency, then ok.

$VKTX Biotech lives and dies on data read outs. We are months away from the Ph.3 read out for VANQUISH. $VKTX have run all sorts of trials since 2012. None of them have failed. You think suddenly, out of the blue, the slated 'best in class' VK2735 is gonna fail?! $NVO $LLY

What in the name of we are both human beings is this : piece of info.... $VKTX
Someone big wanted out of $VKTX today, those were abnormally large lots. Looks like vk is trying to compete with $CELC & $AXSM on who can fall the hardest.

$VKTX 10/10 for the naming of these VK2735 trials. 💉 SubQ is VANQUISH 💊 Oral is SUNRISE Not a lot to cheer about right now so im enjoying the naming 😄 $NVO $LLY
🔔 Apparently Viking Therapeutics’ SUNRISE-1 (w/o T2D) and SUNRISE-2 (with T2D) Phase 3 weight management trials for the oral formulation of VK2735 (GLP-1/GIP) went live on clinicaltrials.gov on Friday. ▪️3 treatment arms, plus placebo ▪️27.5mg, 35mg, and 55 mg daily ▪️Everybody starts at 17.5mg daily ▪️Trial sites have not yet been disclosed Pics: trial listing and Phase 2 results. New pill format relative to P2. Wondering if there may also have been some bioavailability improvement. Anyone named @bioinvestor24 care to comment? 😉 SUNRISE-1 clinicaltrials.gov/study/NCT…

$VKTX all this talk about CEO just being a "science guy" ? He holds an MBA in Finance & Accounting. His career just prior to starting Viking was as a research analyst. This isn't some fella sitting around playing with test tubes. I think the guy understands the market.

$VKTX I love Antonio, he's put me on to some smart moves. But this is the sort of talk that got a lot of people in trouble in 2024. The offering then was $85. It then went to 19$ and is currently at $30. Just be careful amigos.

$VKTX $LLY For those of you, like me, who find it hard to visualise things like this when it is written, here's a visual of @Pharmdca's tweet : $NVO
$VKTX vs $LLY in terms of Safety and tolerability so far based on available data. Conclusion- $VKTX 17.5 mg Is the best Commercial Dose (de-risked PH3) with best tolerability-to-efficacy ratio and is competitive with retatrutide in efficacy and best in class in safety vs retatrutide. Data here ⬇️⬇️ Retatrutide- Safety TRIUMPH‑1 shows: Nausea: 4 mg: 28.6% 9 mg: 38.4% 12 mg: 42.4% Diarrhea: 4 mg: 25.2% 9 mg: 34.1% 12 mg: 32.0% Placebo: 13.5% Constipation: 4 mg: 23.8% 9 mg: 25.9% 12 mg: 26.1% Placebo: 10.9% Vomiting: 4 mg: 10.6% 9 mg: 22.8% 12 mg: 25.3% Placebo: 4.8% Dysesthesia: 4 mg: 5.1% 9 mg: 12.3% 12 mg: 12.5% Placebo: 0.9% Keep in mind- Skin sensitivity event is not a class-wide GLP/GIP feature, could likely be linked to this molecule. Discontinuation due to AEs 4 mg: 4.1% 9 mg: 6.9% 12 mg: 11.3% Placebo: 4.9% Basically, a double-digit discontinuation at 12mg dose a real risk for commercial take. $VKTX Based on Maintenance data reported last week. My focus is primarily on $17.5mg dose Nausea Placebo: ~10–12% 10 mg: ~15–18% 15 mg: ~18–22% 17.5 mg: ~20–25% 20 mg: ~22–28% 22.5 mg: ~25–30% Vomiting Placebo: ~2–3% 10 mg: ~4–6% 15 mg: ~5–7% 17.5 mg: ~6–8%20 mg: ~7–10% 22.5 mg: ~8–12% Diarrhea Placebo: ~8–10% 10 mg: ~10–12% 15 mg: ~12–14% 17.5 mg: ~12–15% 20 mg: ~14–17% 22.5 mg: ~15–18% Discontinuation Due to AEs Placebo: ~3–4% 10 mg: ~3–4% 15 mg: ~4–5% 17.5 mg: ~4–6% 20 mg: ~5–7% 22.5 mg: ~6–8% Key point: The 17.5 mg discontinuation rate is essentially placebo‑like safety.

$VKTX Are these Reta results legit? Fair play. I'd be bouncing off the walls if Viking delivered those sort of results, which it seems they won't quite reach ( I think 27% is absolute best case bull expectation). Poor unfortunates on placebo... $LLY $NVO
It's finally here! At last we have phase-3 results for retatrutide! So, did the drug join the scores of pharmaceuticals that fail at this last crucial step? If you've tried retatrutide recently, you'll realize the answer is 'no': it performed amazingly🧵
