Flood plain reconnection 🤝nutrient reduction With: 5 re-profiled bends 5 scrapes of 1000+m2 Two backwaters our work on this stretch of the Mease is nearing completion. These interventions store flood water on land & settle out silt, reducing nutrient pollution.

This brook in Coton on Elms was destined for a concrete makeover, as the wood installation supporting the bank had become dilapidated.

So many people at the Edingale show the other week were interested in the bugs and special places on the River Mease. The model was popular too! :-)

What makes a healthy river? What kind of invertebrates live in my river? What can we do to help the Mease? All those questions were answered at Saturday's Edingale Show! Thank you for having us!
