Firmly believe the pie at Blacklock is the best thing on the menu. Loved the 2013 Tondonia. Loved the company of Dave Carlo even more. A lovely afternoon tinged with memories and love.

Learning Italian has had the knock-on effect of making my Spanish so much better. Having spent the week in a fairly tribal part of Spain, I’ve been able to more than get by and (I hope) the locals have appreciated us for doing so. Also, Cadiz is the bollocks.
