This is why I say its stupid to get an EDGE until you fix LB and DB. Quick pressure doesnt matter if guys are wide open. A quick fix will always fail. Unless they'll take a 2nd RD pick, you're wasting your time giving a huge haul for Crosby when you have other needs as well
This is what I was considered about. When I was hearing Broaddus say that in this scheme the LBs just need to play downhill and coverage isnt as important I was like this sounds like how the Cowboys have been playing football for years so that was a huge red flag
Sadly thats a Schotty thing to do and if it works just means hes what's holding this offense back and being a physical run football team was all cap because he waited till things got bad to adjust to your teams strengths
The excuse the Cowboys FO has been using since Dak has been in the league is to maintain "continuity" with the offense and make things easier for Dak and guess what for each coach its been the opposite when teams adjust to what we do. You'd think getting better coaches would help
Thank you! Mike McCarthy is eating off a really good defense. His offense is just 🗑 and Dak being great in thay offense is why I don't credit Mike McCarthy to the offense success in Dallas because in his last year with full control it was terrible.

People who hate Dak always compare him with bias. They never compare the GMs, Coach, OC, Playcalling, or defense! It’s ALL DAK PRESCOTT’s FAULT! People expect elite play every game when everything else is mid to below par! Garbage takes!

Funny how a team can fix a need with actually trying. But somehow the Cowboys can't figure out LB and RT. No you'll never have all pros at every position but you need to take risks to try to fix your team.

This is false. They are throwing at a higher clip and more stagnant and running less. How is that the same scheme? The difference is the HC is getting spooked early and abandons the run too quickly.
How can you blame the OC and OL coach when Brian was literally telling you the scheme is putting unnecessary pressure on your OL. Are they supposed to make Schotty scheme work? When obviously the play calling is the issue? 👀

My only issue with this logic is it ignores the fact that Jerry purposes gets yes men and makes decisions behind the scenes like influencing who gets the ball which literal alters and can hurt the team but we act like that's normal. It always starts at the top. Too many issues.
