Zeta Gundam by Youchi Fukano with a little cg by Kenichi Iguchi. This form 1997 and it's interesting to see an illustration of the zeta that looks more like a digital painting

Some Turn A Gundam sketches by Hidetoshi Omori! I was fortunate enough to meet him back in 2024! He was incredibly kind and draws like a madman!

Rx-78 grandpa Gundam by Yoshikazu Yasuhiko, the best to ever do it. My local hobby shop has an original of his on the wall and I'm so jealous!

The way Kazuhisa Kondo draws the ZZ Gundam is so intimidating. He really captures the scary factor that mobile suits don't often express

Master Gundam by Manabu Katayama, Fumie Maebayashi and Eiji Wakamatsu for the Gundam Mobile Suit Bible. I love G Gundam so much. I'm rewatching it for the first time in years and it's so cool!

Victory 2 Assault Buster Gundam from the Newtype 100% collection drawn by Hajime Katoki and Hiroshi Ousaka. Give me one good reason why I shouldn't go by an MG V2 ver Ka this weekend... Please

I love the way Kazuhisa Kondo drew the F91 in this. It feels more like the Azieru than a Gundam here

Zeta Gundam by Morifumi Naka The scale on this one is so wild

A painting of the Ez-8 Gundam by Kimitoshi Yamane from the 20 Years of Gundam artbook. What Iike about this is that it presents such an open atmosphere despite so much of the show happening on land

The Zeong by Hirotoshi Sano. Not very familiar with his works but man these paintings are beautiful!

I know I usually post Gundam but is there any love got Virtual-On here? These are scans from Cyber Troopers Virtual-On Oratoria: The Soul of Truth. I picked up a copy of this for like 500 yen last time I was in Tokyo. I wish I could find the model kits!

Turn A Gundam and Turn X and their pilots for Newtype Magazine. Apparently it's a collaboration drawing between Yoshihito Hishinuma and Atsushi Shigeta. I love how the Turn X looks here, almost like it's made of moon rocks

Turn A from Newtype 100% collection. I can't get over how well Syd Mead's designs are consistently interpreted

I was wondering why every issue of Newtype Magazine had a Victory Gundam spread and then realized I was just looking at issues from 1994... It's too sick not to show them

More scans from Newtype Magazine for Victory Gundam featuring the League Militaire and Zanscare Empire mobile suits. Exploring these scans really made love these designs! I'm going rewatch this after I finish G Gundam!

More Victory Gundam spreads from Newtype magazine. These are so good I think I'm just going to post these for a while. There's so many I want to share with you!

Why does the Obari Qubeley go so hard?!

Gundam Wing spreads from Newtype Magazine. I think magazine graphic design + Mecha art is just perfect
