DID YOU KNOW: Jack Kirby presented to Stan Lee the first design of 'Spider-Man'.
The design consisted of a muscular man with a half-face mask similar to Captain America, a chest with a design similar to Ant-Man, and a gun that shot spider webs.
This design has yet to surface.
Before anyone comments with this image, it has been commonly misconceived.
This image originates from the splash page of Tales of Astonish #51 and was of the character Giant Man altered to look like the description of the lost drawings.
