I remember a year ago getting a text telling me to check my work email. There it was - the notice that Twitter layoffs would happen the next day. I was naive at the time thinking I would perhaps be safe because I worked in the ads dept. However, the layoffs started that night.
I watched people get cut and lose access to Slack in real time. It was the most bizarre thing. I lost my access at 11PM that night and got the official email at 3AM. I had only been with the company for 10 months but it still stung - a lot. As a designer, Twitter was my dream job
I’m taking credit for @Target now allowing us to do some returns through DriveUp. I made this suggestion almost 4 years ago.
The one thing that would make @Target’s drive up service 1000x better is if we could do returns that way too. I pull up and make a return w/o leaving my car. Especially in the winter when you have a baby. Maybe it’s just for Red card holders.

It’s quite annoying that @target doesn’t allow you to select “drive up” on their desktop experience and only offers it on mobile. It forces customers to take extra steps and spend extra time getting their items the way they’d like. Please change this.
Imma cut the designers at Twitter some slack because they're amazing and they're probably working 24/7 - but the new X icon's line weight and style doesn't match any of Twitter's existing brand icons and that's all I can think about. #designtwitter #icondesign
Okay I finally get why so many people run in the compression/biker short style bottoms. I will forever love my flowy running shorts, but I finally understand.
