A great day in Southland at the #thrivesouthland “everything to gain” conference. Great event, great speakers and great insights! Driving past Edendale reminds me of the importance of making sure we keep trade access, if that’s via sustainable practices or animal welfare…

#BruceThorrold explains the difference between the industry HWEN proposal and the government proposal which should help on what points to make in your submissions. @DairyNZ @NZBeefLamb
Government has released its agriculture emissions pricing proposal, and we have some strong concerns. Listen to our latest podcast with DairyNZ's Bruce Thorrold who explains the proposal, how it stacks up, and what it really means for dairy farmers. dairynz.co.nz/podcast

Great to have @MelSlattz presenting at this @worldfarmersorg @climakers workshop online tonight. Nz is in an interesting position compared to most countries with our hwen approach to pricing. So many initiatives going on world wide as farmers adapt to changing climate locally.
