Sunday reading question for adult fantasy lovers: What's a book that made you believe in heroism again? I'm looking for that perfect balance of literary beauty and genuine hope. #BookTwitter #AdultFantasy #ComfortReads

Getting to live a life without fear of your embarrassing moment becoming the laughingstock of the world. Forget just having your friends laugh at you; now people around the globe can gleefully revel in your most awkward, embarrassing moments.

Have you ever practiced #martialarts? If so, which one(s)? And why'd that one appeal to you?

It's cliche, but high school. They weren't terrible years; they weren't good years. High school simply happened. It was hyped up as this time of "coming-of-age experiences," and it really didn't deliver. College was much more meaningful and formative for me.
What life experience was supposed to be amazing but ended up being a big letdown?

I remember the hate I got for writing in first person (I still role my eyes at the person who said I only wrote in 1st person because I need more life experience). And now we're hating on 3rd person? I can't wait until people find out 2nd person exists.
Stop attacking third person. If you like first person, cool. Good for you. Third person has and always will be acceptable.

If it weren't for last minute panic, I wouldn't get anything done.

Thank you.
Em dashs were a writing device before ai. Stop thinking they're an ai tell. They're not. One might as well call out the illustrious period. OMG, someone used a period. It must be ai.

Also, in hindsight, this was when the ruination of my life began.
When I was a teenager, I entered a short story into a contest hosted by our county library system. I won 3rd place and $75. It was this experience that made me seriously consider writing as something more than a hobby I secretly did in my spare time.

I've been back for three days, and I'm already over it with accounts spamming AI videos like they're real content.

Is it time for you to fly away on a wooden spaceship to galaxies unknown? I guarantee it's better than doomscrolling! An interconnected series in KU with book one being just 0.99, why not take a chance on something new and different?

The past ripples like water Your voice whispers in memory Your scent, floral and elegant, breathes in my mind The shadows shiver and I see you A breeze trails your fingers over my skin Then you are gone. Again. But you sing in my heart And I feel you in my #marrow #vss365

Having a baby. A number of things have defined my life in "before and after," but the birth of my son is the one that tells all the other moments to take a seat and be quiet.
What split your life into before and after?

I think I might just devote my Twitter account to retelling all the silly things my dog does.

I spend an uncomfortable amount of time during the day silently asking myself, "OK, what would a normal person do right now?" The particularly difficult part is that I don't think I've ever met a normal person.

*Sees my dog chewing something* *Removes twig from dog's mouth* Me: Twigs are not food! My dog: Not with that sort of defeatist attitude, they aren't.
