Crypto is the worst industry on earth because the people that participate in it kill it from the inside.
Me and @insentos just had what could have been an amazing onboarding event over 3 days streaming to 10k people every day showing people how to trade memes and what is possible as a memecoin trader and legitimately turned 1k to 10k.
I wake up this morning to every person saying we scammed or rugpulled every coin we were in, with 0 proof, 0 txs, and nothing shown on chain just blatant lies. The funny thing is it’s all for a couple views it doesn’t even benefit the person posting these things.
We had 10k consistent viewers throughout the whole stream and this entire thing could have and should have been a net positive FOR CRYPTO PEOPLE FOR THE TRENCHES. We literally could have had a massive onboarding from this but no. Instead i wake up today to everyone trying to discredit what we did. When if those people actually had a brain and could realize that on chain volume as literally at its lowest point and everyone trying to trade will literally not make more money unless people get onboarded, but they decide they want views and to hate for 0 reason whatsoever.
Crypto is the only place where someone can do something net positive for the space and everyone else in it will try to immediately make it a net negative. It truly is insane to see.
You wonder why everyone thinks crypto is a scam it’s because of everyone here on CT. I could drop @‘s name names but no it’s just everyone participating in the circle jerk that we call CT. There is no winning here.
I am fully disassociating myself with ct and will be way less active on here. Going the @ShaneStoffer route. I wish everyone the best and can’t wait to see how you all ruin the next great thing that comes your way.

imagine being a small time trader using the @Pumpfun app. you downloaded it and pumpfun told you to follow @slingoorio one of the most followed and highly paid KOLs in the entire ecosystem.
you see him post callout after callout about big titty coin (hahaha it's like bitcoin ticker but it's tits, lol, lmao even!) and so you put your chips into this coin.
it's Saturday and you see one of the main guys at pumpfun post this tweet: 'wow well big titty coin has gotta be legit, pumpfun pay sling hundreds of thousands of dollars for his insights and alpha, this is a good investment'.
it's Sunday now and you open your pumpfun app and you see sling post his 123rd callout saying 'these dips don't phase (sic) me.' you close the app, happy in your conviction: 'sling, the pumpfun poster child isn't fazed by these dips, why should I?' you log off, go and do some household chores before work starts tomorrow again.
it's Sunday evening, you're tired from all your chores, so you sit down on your sofa and open the pumpfun app.
you have lost everything.

Multiple med/pre-med students at the University of Michigan were caught planning to poison future patients if they weren't "aligned with Palestine" while also planning to kill fellow students and teachers.

I've been harping on this for a long time. Griggs v. Duke power has probably been one of the worst things to ever happen to people that are smart from non wealthy families, and similarly awful for employers.
Unfortunately, maybe 5% of the population is able to understand second order effects. Road to hell paved with good intentions etc etc.
Nobody ever talks about this, but the reason you have to go to college is A, because Griggs v. Duke Power Company made it illegal for presumptive employers to IQ test, and B, inner city High-Schools basically aren't allowed to fail a student as long as they physically show up.
So you end up in this trap where a High-School diploma that you worked very hard for means nothing, because a kid who did coloring books and addition and subtraction got a paper saying he has the same qualification. Ok, then just give me an intelligence test, oh wait you cant, thats also illegal because it causes "disparate impact". So now the only proxy for basically literacy and ~105~ IQ is a 4 year meaningless degree that costs 10s of thousands of dollars.
But wait, now they hand those out to anyone, (1/4 of 4yr grads have an IQ of or below 95), so now you need a Master's, or specialty training, or a million other bullshit things. So you get them, but wait, a diploma mill in Hyderabad cranked out 100M guys who also have a Master's on paper, and will work for 1/3 the price, so now you dont have a job. Ok, ill work construction, but wait, you dont live in a State with strong Unions, so any non-specialized construction work is done by slaves from Guatemala, so you decide to stay home and take Percocet instead.

Anyone advocating for an AI slowdown without first pursuing a global agreement should simply be treated as a Chinese agent.
Let’s be real, hamstringing American power IS a goal of many recently elected politicians whether they’re on Chinese payroll or not. They should be tried for treason regardless.
A true leftist would see the potential for abundance and work to achieve that for ALL, not damn us to the dark ages.

Not joking when I say the entire objective of AI-fear-mongering is to allow China to surpass the USA. No exaggeration whatsoever. The CCP is inside the Democratic party.
