🚨 Community project dismantled without notice – Wandsworth 🚨
A volunteer-led community garden in Wandsworth was dismantled overnight without warning or consultation by Wandsworth Council / Eastern Area Housing.
Built at no cost to the council, using recycled materials donated by the Mace Group, and months of unpaid community effort — we were waiting for soil to start planting when everything was removed.
This raises serious questions about:
• How councils treat community initiatives
• Lack of transparency and communication
• Accountability in local housing management
📣 Calling on journalists & local/national media to help shine a light on this and ask the questions residents can’t get answered.
Community voices deserve to be heard.

This is the difference between you and me: I run a charity that feeds many people daily, voluntarily. One of your workers just hung up on me because I couldn't pick up my dog, found on the streets, after I hadn't slept for 24 hours. #🤔
.@Battersea_ I can’t get through to any of your phones .. the org is too big not to be able to reach you guys. Common!!!!
