BREAKING! @WaltDisneyCo filming series about a camp at controversial location where actual camp owners killed a child, harmed others & operate illegally. Worse, the mother of the dead child is a Disney employee! Disney is paying the camp large rental fees. tinyurl.com/mpze9ba3

Each summer, communities in every corner of California are tragically impacted by drownings. It’s easy to get overpowered by swift-moving cold water, but drowning is preventable. Please, wear a life jacket. #NotOneMore
MMF is honored to partner with @ChildrensLA to help keep kids safe around water! Check out the video of SuperMeow’s visit to Edward Vincent Park- link in our bio. Thank you @SwimOutlet for our stylish USCG approved life jackets that the kids loved! #DontLetUsDrown #RoxiesWish

#COVID19 kept many children away f/ pools and swim lessons last year. Experts are worried children are at greater risk for drowning this year. We urge parents and caretakers to help by teaching children to swim, keeping a watchful eye, and learning CPR: goodmorningamerica.com/famil…
Finally, go to MeowMeowFoundation.org to learn more about camp safety. @MeowMeowOrg is partnering with @CrimeStopHOU to shine a light on #campabuse. We demand that @ACAcamps publicly address abuse at summer camps and crimes by @boyscouts .
And then we go to #congress and get all kids the protections they finally deserve from #drowning and from #campsafety crises that kill and injure and sexually abuse far too many young people year after year.
But equally important is that we will not stop until @CAgovernor signs similar measures that protect all CA kids.
Thanks to @HildaSolis and @kathrynbarger and @LACountyBOS for approving our #drowningprevention and #campsafety measures meowmeowfoundation.org/news/… that will protect millions of children. Unprecedented!
We’re honored to partner with @RBAC_updates @PasadenaGov @huntingtonnews to help keep children safe. And so proud of MMF board members @Lilianac_esq & Charles Brown, Esq. for their compelling support!

To foster happy memories in the pool, youth must first learn water safety. Our Board is voting to support @ChrisHoldenNews' legislation to implement an aquatic & pool safety policy in schools. We must educate teachers, parents, & youth about safety measures to prevent drownings.
