Thanks to funding from the Merton Legacy Fund, we’ve launched a programme of upgrades to our much loved parks and green spaces - as voted by you! 🗳️
Merton is now home to 11 Green Flag Award-winning parks, the highest number ever in the borough! 🏆
This summer, Brenley Park in Figges Marsh was awarded a Green Flag for the first time, joining 10 other parks and greenspaces across Merton who hold the prestigious award.🌳
A huge thank you to Merton’s Friends of Parks groups, volunteers, community organisations, and the Council’s Parks and Greenspaces team for their hard work in making this happen! 🥳

Merton has been named the "standout performer" in this year's results season!🏆
Over 40% of A-level students achieved A/A* grades, while T-Level students achieved a 100% pass rate, and GCSE students bucked national trends yet again with another year of outstanding results. 🥳

You're a bit late to the party - five months late to be exact.
We already put forward our new street cleaning service at the last budget, including regular jet-washing in our town centres and a new graffiti removal service.
Not one Lib-Dem voted for it.
Pavements in Merton's town centres are filthy - and @MertonLabour doesn't have a plan to clean them. "Civic Pride" means more than managing down to the minimum statutory grade for litter and detritus. It means putting in place a plan for a visible standard in busy town centres

A week after the devastating fire at Belgrave Walk, we brought our residents together with @LondonFire and @Clarion_Group to provide updates and ensure everyone knew where to access support.
Recovery doesn’t end when the fire is out, and we’ll continue to stand by our residents.
