This is such nonsense.
Did Kendrick Lamar sent glasses Malone and Jason Martin to confront Ray Daniels? Previously, Ray Daniels had agreed on his podcast that Kendrick Lamar “to pimp a butterfly” album is overrated. Jason Martin told Ray Daniels that, he’s not supposed to criticize Kendrick Lamar’s music in public. Going around pressing music critics, it’s not healthy for the music ecosystem. People should be entitled to their opinion when it comes to music or any other artistic expression. We already witnessed glasses Malone pressing a producer for working with Drake, and now they pressing podcasters.
Story telling wise Jacob Fatu joining 946 as the leader is the best angle. He has been relegated in the Bloodline and they don’t treat him well. He should be in the main event picture imo
The difference with Drake is he’s been number sales and relevance wise pretty much the whole time. Probably two years he wasn’t no1 since 2011..
🚨 The Joe Budden Podcast says DRAKE is now the one rapper who can challenge Jay-Z’s famous longevity claim:
“There’s never been a nigga this good for this long.”
“One that he could argue with now… and that’s DRAKE.”
“I want Drake to FLIP that line on him so bad.”
The crew says Jay wasn’t necessarily the hottest rapper at every point, naming 50 Cent, Nelly & Eminem as artists who had hotter moments, but argues Hov’s ability to remain near the top while others came and went is what separated his run.
I agree with this. Only thing I would say is Eminem has probably outsold Jay for the totality of his career too so wouldn’t label him as hot, even though he’s not culturally as relevant..

Jay Z been considered a top artist and very consistent. The best rapper as well lyrically, but the notion he’s been the dominant rapper globally and sales wise is just not true.
What’s funny in the 50 debate is ppl often minimise his run to one album, but Massacre sold even more than Get Rich or Die Trying did. Curtis sold nearly 700k in the first week. Then you have to factor his mixtape run before that.. all the G Unit albums.. was more than a hot run
This is such poor analysis..
