For hundreds of years, weavers across the Caucasus and Anatolia carried patterns in memory, not on paper. I spent the last year extracting 1,024 traditional motifs from 15,739 archival rugs, reducing each symbol to a 16×16 bitmap, and writing a 69-pattern weaving engine that lives entirely on blockchain. No IPFS. No external servers. Just 32 KB of on-chain code weaving endless carpets in real time. More info👇

Most of my immersive work has only existed inside physical spaces - exhibitions and installations you had to be there to experience. I’ve been thinking about how to make these works accessible beyond the places and moments they were originally created for.
