A case I was reviewing on Friday reminded me of his and I was looking at it tonight. They are illustrative of precisely how mineral balancing works and is a bit of an outlier in how powerfully and quickly it worked for him as you hear from his testimonial in the retweeted video clip. You can see here with these tests - the first one on the left from 1/23/2024 - and the second one on the right from 5/21/2024 that his aluminum reading goes from .53mg% to 2.41mg%. An increase of nearly 2.0mg% in about exactly 4 months. What this means in real terms is that for every 100 grams of hair tissue 2 milligrams of aluminum would be in the entire hair volume. For new hair growth over a 4-month period it averages about 20 grams, or 1/5th of the 100 grams. So we take 2.0 and multiply by .2 and get about .4 milligrams of aluminum eliminated through the entire new hair growth. Assuming equal amounts of aluminum are eliminated through the liver/bowels and kidneys/urine (which is extremely conservative given these are much more significant routes of excretion for metals than the hair/skin) we multiply by 3 to get 1.2 milligrams of aluminum eliminated in total for this 4 month period. Letโ€™s say double the amount of aluminum was eliminated from his liver/kidneys as through his hair tissue and we get: .4mg + .8mg (liver) + .8mg (kidneys) = 2 milligrams on the high end of this estimated range. So the estimated amount of aluminum eliminated for the 4 month time period was 1.2 milligrams to 2.0 milligrams. The ATSDR estimates most โ€œhealthyโ€ people have 30 to 50 milligrams in total in their entire body. People that are sick likely have much more and I have seen autopsy studies showing people with 300 milligrams of aluminum their bodies. This guy was NOT healthy but he didnโ€™t have any major degenerative disease. He did have depersonalization/derealization. And it was essentially gone at this 4-month mark after being on mineral balancing and eliminating aluminum. Whatโ€™s also of note here is the first four elements on each HTMA. In his first test we see absolutely bottomed out levels of sodium and potassium, and they are also low relative to calcium and magnesium. On his second chart not only are these first four elements almost perfect according to their individual ideals, but they are extraordinary balanced relative to each other. This is THE PURPOSE OF MINERAL BALANCING. To balance these first four elements relative to each other. This optimizes cellular energy efficiency, increases nutrient absorption massively and causes, directly, the antagonisms between minerals and metals to be more fully expressed. An almost perfect example of how mineral balancing CAUSES heavy metal eliminations.
Incredible client testimonial of a client going through a very significant aluminum elimination and how his symptoms of depersonalization have shifted as a result of this elimination. Amazing stuff. Mineral balancing does this.

Had a consult today with a dad whoโ€™s autistic son has been on mineral balancing for about 18 months (from 2.5 to 4 years in age) and heโ€™s gone from non-verbal and regressing developmentally to verbal and with many improvements in social skills. He has gone through multiple aluminum eliminations as he has been on mineral balancing and we expect his prognosis to continue to improve. Mineral Balancing for kids with autism is the future. There is no better program to eliminate the primary causative agent in autism - aluminum.

Itโ€™s all true. ๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿ‘‡
Musical talent indicates genetic fitness and cognitive flexibility. Even pursuing or maintaining an artistic craft can boost one's energy and, consequently, IQ (Criscuolo et al., 2019). Peat observed that playing music or singing activates the brain in ways similar to speech, yet without the social inhibitions and defensive tensions that so often paralyze verbal discourse. This absence of social pressure lends music its restorative power. It offers an avenue of expression that bypasses armoring, as Peat pointed out that those who struggle with severe stuttering in speech typically find their fluency restored when they sing. As many of you know by now, birds maintain the highest metabolic rates of any vertebrates, generating the immense energy required for powered flight and migration. This heightened cellular metabolism and fine neural differentiation have equipped them with an efficient respiratory system and a dense brain with an expanded high vocal center (HVC). The HVC is the primary control region responsible for learning and executing complex motor patterns, most notably birdsong. A larger HVC volume directly correlates with a more complex song repertoire. Because producing intricate melody demands developmental success and strong immune health, females favor males with expansive repertoires--treating their song as an unfakable, costly signal of biological fitness (Pfaff et al., 2007). Many bird species amplify their songs with precise physical sounds such as rhythmic foot tapping, wing snaps, and beak rattling. The HVC coordinates these audio-visual spectacles, allowing birds to effectively "dance" to the music they create. Birdsong is inseparable from their high metabolic output, which supports complex courtship rituals and allows females to assess a male's health and, as I argued many times before, the energy needed to maintain a monogamous relationship. In essence, birds are nature's artists and romantics. For similar reasons, women, often colloquially referred to as "birds" in British slang, find musically talented men attractive because their musical ability functions as an "honest signal" of high energy and an unarmored state. In The Descent of Man, Charles Darwin (1871) proposed that musical expression preceded articulate language and evolved primarily through sexual selection. Because genuine artistic expression requires spontaneous motor coordination and intelligence, it cannot be mimicked through superficial calculation. In other words, musical talent cannot be faked, and the average pick-up artist cannot replicate the skills needed to create music or art. Building on his earlier observation that music bypasses physical armoring, Peat further noted that it creates an "enriched environment" driving neuroplasticity. This ability to forge new neural connections allows talented musicians to act as agents of healing, making them naturally magnetic in a world highly reactive to frequencies. This restorative power of sound brings us back to the birds. While their intricate melodies serve as an unfakable metabolic signal for courtship, to me, the most intriguing aspect of birdsong is that it does not function merely for reproduction or territorial defense but it also unifies offspring and signals environmental safety. For nestlings, a parent's steady, melodic song is an acoustic barometer of a predator-free habitat. When the forest falls dead silent, armoring takes hold for the young, and when the melody resumes, their nervous systems relax and spontaneity returns. Beyond loud territorial songs, birds rely on soft "contact calls"--intimate, rhythmic notes that maintain familial cohesion without drawing unwanted attention (Elie et al., 2010). These gentle frequencies calm the nest, signaling that a protective presence is near. The capacity to move freely and sing skillfully is a shared trait among great heroes of the past, who radiated abundant energy and soared to great heights, much like birds. Gรฉrard de Lairesse's (ca. 1675โ€“1680) painting (see below) depicts Achilles in a moment of introspection from Homer's Iliad (ca. 8th century B.C.E./1990, 9.185โ€“191). Deeply alienated by Agamemnonโ€™s authoritarian hubris, he withdraws from the Trojan War. Instead of fighting, he plays a lyre and sings "glories of men" (klea andrลn), recounting the deeds of past heroes while consciously choosing not to create his own legacy on the battlefield. In this moment, Achilles is not just a subject of epic poetry, but also a poet and creator of history himself. Achilles's immortality arises from his own rhythmic self-determination, expressed through action, art, and conscious inaction--for deliberate stillness can serve as a powerful refusal of authoritarianism. While martial violence can be conscripted by Agamemnon, an armored "king who devours his people" (1.231), spontaneous music and creative autonomy remain completely beyond the ruler's grasp. Plato (ca. 375 B.C.E./1991, 435aโ€“441c) partitioned the soul into three parts: the rational head (logistikon), the spirited chest (thymoeides or "thumos"), and the appetitive gut (epithymetikon). Centuries later, Wilhelm Reich (1945) identified the counterpart to this spirited chest in the thoracic armor segment, observing alongside Elsworth Baker (1967) that chronic muscular tension in this area suffocates genuine emotional and artistic expressiveness. The chest cages deep emotions such as heartbreak and rage, and the arms and hands act as direct physical extensions of this segment. In unarmored musicians, energy flows freely from the center of the chest through the shoulders and down into the delicate nerves of each fingertip. When the chest is armored, however, the rhomboids and trapezius pull the shoulders backward in a permanent muscular attitude of "holding back" and spiteful resistance of "I won't" (Reich, 1945, p. 376). The limbs turn rigid and mechanical, losing the natural fluidity and buoyant mobility seen in singing birds. When energy flows unhindered through the chest, it ascends naturally into the cervical (neck) and oral segments, which govern the voice. Chronic spasms in the masseters lock the jaw, producing a flat, monotonous timbre, while constriction in the throat renders the voice high-pitched, strained, or weak. In other words, armoring in the deep cervical muscles acts as a dam, forcing the armored individual to literally "swallow down" tears, sobbing, or intense rage before they can reach the vocal cords (p. 375). Within the Greek camp--a claustrophobic environment dominated by factional posturing and dread--Achilles strikes his lyre, and the vibrational pulse of his unarmored heart cuts through the noise. His companion Patroclus sits across from him in quiet attunement. When Agamemnonโ€™s envoys, Odysseus and Ajax, arrive to plead for his return, they stop short at the perimeter, momentarily disarmed by the presence of living music in a place prepared for slaughter. Much like a bird's contact call, Achilles' song establishes calm amidst a battlefield of frantic destruction. Reich noted that a lack of musicality can be a defense mechanism against feeling. He describes a patient who, appearing completely unmusical, had repressed his senses as a child because the emotional sensations triggered by his abusive motherโ€™s singing were too intense for his armored self to handle. It is telling that Agamemnon sends Odysseus and Ajax in his place to offer material bribes, as he possesses neither a song of his own nor the biological energy required to make a single note of genuine human contact. While Achilles remains perfectly in tune with his body, yielding to his lyre to give voice to grief and living memory, Agamemnon, haunted by his own motherโ€™s sexual betrayal with his uncle Thyestes, cannot even bear to be present for the song, remaining tightly armored and trapped within the camp's discord.

You can be perfectly โ€œawareโ€ of sources of aluminum and avoid them for a decade, or even more, but still have a burden of aluminum because of its half-life in the tissues of potentially decades. Especially given its propensity for accumulation in neurons which never turn over and bone, which turns over very very slowly. Soil acidification also makes aluminum in the soils much more bioavailable for uptake by random crops which means the full extent of the aluminum burden of the earth isnโ€™t even close to fully characterized.

Collusion between government agencies and industry obfuscated the very real link between lead toxicity and awful childhood health outcomes for nearly 80 years (neurodevelopmental delays, iq loss, adhd, behavioral problems). The identification of lead as problematic and likely causing severe issue for kids first occurred in 1904 by Gibson, et al in Australia. Research continued through the 1900s and time and again demonstrated the harmful cognitive effects of lead on adults and children. It wasnโ€™t until the late 1970s and early 1980s via the landmark work of Needlman & Landrigan that lead was banned from paints and gasoline exhaust. But industry was able to prevent action being taken for those 80 years. Now, consider the above example with respect to our current situation with Aluminum has a far more mild acute toxic profile than lead so government agencies do not take aluminum toxicity as seriously. But aluminum is far more ubiquitously used in industry than lead ever was. Then add in the fact that the aluminum industry is just as vehement in defending their product as the lead industry and we have a decades-long period of time where children are increasingly being exposed to and injured by aluminum. With the most extreme manifestation of these aluminum mediated injury being autism and developmental delays. The costs of inaction by governments who ignored leads effect on children are actually incalculable. Billions of IQ points were lost. The same now is happening with the government not taking action against aluminum. History, as they say, is indeed a circle.

I am planning an article looking at the trends we see with HTMA mineral patterns and these autistic children. I see many consistent trends. An interesting observation thatโ€™s being made is that there are several parents in this cohort with kids ๐—ช๐—›๐—ข ๐—ช๐—˜๐—ฅ๐—˜ ๐—ก๐—ข๐—ง ๐—ฉ๐—”๐—–๐—–๐—œ๐—ก๐—”๐—ง๐—˜๐——, yet still diagnosed with autism. And vaccines are but one significant exposure vector for aluminum especially, but the other metals like mercury as well. So then this begs the question, what other major exposure vectors for an infant child could be present, such that enough aluminum gets into the body, traverses the blood brain barrier, and is sufficient enough to cause full blown autism? Today I spoke with a mom, in this autism cohort whoโ€™s 1 year old infant had aluminum toxicity that I see in 30 years olds that would be considered โ€œbad.โ€ We see on her test here, that her aluminum is off the calibrated chart at 5.3 milligrams percent. While the HTMA test is not perfect at exactly predicting body burden of aluminum and other metals (especially in the brain), when they are overtly elevated like this or very low, thereโ€™s a very high probability that the body burden is also commensurately high. When we consider that a 1-year-old is uniquely vulnerable to toxic exposures because of an immature blood brain barrier, the toxicity observed is amplified significantly. TOXIC METALS AND FUNCTIONAL MINERAL DEFICIENCIES Your mineral status is one of the most important variables in the absorption of toxic metals in the gut. Mineral deficiencies + imbalances will lead to more efficient abortion of these toxic elements. This slow and silent absorption process takes place over years/decades and leads to disastrous consequences like functional deficiencies of the essential elements. This notion of a functional deficiency is not well known. It happens when metals build up but not in acute manner, and they substitute for minerals on enzymes where they act as functional displacers of minerals but the body status of the mineral in question does not decline so nothing shows up on blood work or even tissue mineral tests. So youโ€™re left with the dysfunction of a mineral not being properly loaded on an enzyme but very little, if any evidence of this! This is probably one of the worst consequences of metal toxicity and explains many pathologies that present without corresponding dysfunction on lab tests.

Long-term calorie restriction and food neuroticism always leads to this. Uncontrollable binging. You canโ€™t outwit your biological need for food/calories/nutrients. Your body simply doesnโ€™t care about your โ€œphysique goals.โ€ This is why very mild calorie deficits (if any deficit at all) paired with supra-optimal nutrient intake over time is really the only way to look how you want to without being totally miserable. I think in the modern world, with nutrient deprived and toxic-metal-laden food, extreme calorie restriction is even more insane because most people are starting out at baseline as malnourished sub-clinically.
This is the absolute LAST post I ever expected to be making on the Monday of my bodybuilding show week. After months of weighing every gram of food, tracking every calorie, hitting my workouts, doing my cardio, practicing my posing, and preparing myself mentally, physically, and spiritually to step on stage this Saturday, I spent this past weekend binge eating in a way Iโ€™ve never experienced before. And when I say binge eating, I donโ€™t mean I went out and enjoyed a cheat meal or ate a little more than I was supposed to. I mean I completely lost control. I kept eating long after my stomach was telling me to stop. I was physically uncomfortable, I wasnโ€™t even enjoying the food anymore, and yet I continued eating. And the scariest part wasnโ€™t even the amount of food I consumed. It was what was going through my head while I was doing it. At a certain point, it felt like I was intentionally sabotaging myself. Like there was a part of me that wanted to ruin everything I had worked so hard for. And Iโ€™ve spent the last couple of days asking myself WHY. Was I afraid I wasnโ€™t going to look good enough on stage? Was I afraid of disappointing myself? Was I putting so much pressure on myself that I subconsciously wanted a way out? I donโ€™t have all the answers. But those are some uncomfortable questions Iโ€™ve had to start asking myself. After the first binge, I told my coach Chris Elkins everything. Every single thing I ate. We talked about it, and the plan was to move forward, reassess, and take things day by day. The next day, I got right back to my routine. Tracked my food, followed my plan, and genuinely thought I had moved past what happened. Then nighttime came. What started as one extra bite of food turned into another binge. And this one was even worse than the first. I canโ€™t even explain how disappointed I felt afterward. Not because I had eaten food that wasnโ€™t on my plan. But because I had reached a point where I felt like I couldnโ€™t stop myself from doing something I knew was hurting me. I woke up physically miserable. My face was extremely swollen, my body felt awful, and I was looking at myself in the mirror trying to understand how I had gotten here. And now here I am. Five days away from the competition Iโ€™ve spent months preparing for, roughly 10 pounds heavier than I was going into the weekend, and genuinely uncertain whether Iโ€™m going to step on stage this Saturday. Chris believes competing is still an option. Part of me wants to finish what I started. Another part of me wonders whether postponing until November would be the better decision. Because I know how much work I put into this prep. And I also know that the choices I made this weekend have consequences. Iโ€™m not going to sit here and blame anybody else. Iโ€™m not going to pretend it didnโ€™t happen. And Iโ€™m definitely not going to ask anyone to feel sorry for me. But I also donโ€™t want to spend the rest of my life beating myself up over two days. I made those choices. I have to own them. And now I have to figure out how to move forward. One thing this weekend has forced me to recognize is just how much pressure Iโ€™ve been putting on myself. Not only with bodybuilding, but with life in general. Constantly working. Constantly thinking about whatโ€™s next. Constantly being on my phone. Constantly feeling like I need to be doing MORE. And somewhere along the way, I stopped giving myself enough room to just live. So regardless of whether I compete Saturday or in November, some things are going to change. Iโ€™m prioritizing my sleep. Iโ€™m taking real breaks from social media. Iโ€™m giving myself time to recover. And Iโ€™m going to take a serious look at my relationship with food and the pressure Iโ€™ve been putting on myself. Iโ€™m not going to pretend Iโ€™ve figured everything out in 48 hours. I havenโ€™t. And I donโ€™t want to turn this into some inspirational story about how I fell down and immediately got back up stronger than ever. Iโ€™m still figuring it out.

This 29-year-old woman started working with me in June of this year. Sheโ€™s been mineral balancing for about four months. And these are her results: โ€ข ๐—•๐—ฒ๐˜๐˜๐—ฒ๐—ฟ ๐—ณ๐—ฒ๐—ฟ๐˜๐—ถ๐—น๐—ถ๐˜๐˜† ๐—ฏ๐—ถ๐—ผ๐—บ๐—ฎ๐—ฟ๐—ธ๐—ฒ๐—ฟ๐˜€ โ€ข ๐— ๐˜‚๐—ฐ๐—ต ๐—ฏ๐—ฒ๐˜๐˜๐—ฒ๐—ฟ ๐—ฒ๐—ป๐—ฒ๐—ฟ๐—ด๐˜† โ€ข ๐—Ÿ๐—ฒ๐˜€๐˜€ ๐—ฝ๐—ฎ๐—ถ๐—ป๐—ณ๐˜‚๐—น ๐—ฝ๐—ฒ๐—ฟ๐—ถ๐—ผ๐—ฑ๐˜€ โ€ข ๐—ฅ๐—ฒ๐—ฐ๐˜‚๐—ฟ๐—ฟ๐—ถ๐—ป๐—ด ๐—ป๐—ถ๐—ด๐—ต๐˜๐—บ๐—ฎ๐—ฟ๐—ฒ๐˜€ ๐˜๐—ต๐—ฎ๐˜ ๐—ต๐—ฎ๐˜€ ๐—ฏ๐—ฒ๐—ฒ๐—ป ๐—ด๐—ผ๐—ถ๐—ป๐—ด ๐—ผ๐—ป ๐—ณ๐—ผ๐—ฟ ๐—ฑ๐—ฒ๐—ฐ๐—ฎ๐—ฑ๐—ฒ๐˜€ ๐—š๐—ข๐—ก๐—˜ โ€ข ๐—ฆ๐—ธ๐—ถ๐—ป ๐—ถ๐—บ๐—ฝ๐—ฟ๐—ผ๐˜ƒ๐—ฒ๐—บ๐—ฒ๐—ป๐˜๐˜€ โ€ข ๐—›๐—ถ๐˜€๐˜๐—ฎ๐—บ๐—ถ๐—ป๐—ฒ ๐—ถ๐—ป๐˜๐—ผ๐—น๐—ฒ๐—ฟ๐—ฎ๐—ป๐—ฐ๐—ฒ ๐—š๐—ข๐—ก๐—˜ Whatโ€™s interesting about this is before she started mineral balancing she was doing all the things youโ€™re supposed to do and still felt pretty awful. How many people have this experience? I have worked with hundreds of people like this. We can move the needle like no other program can, across multiple systems in the body. Because mineral balancing is the ultimate systems-based approach. Our goal is to balance the entire mineral system all at once, according to mineral and nutrient interactions. This drastically increases energy levels and will lead to up-regulation in seemingly disparate systems in the body that we see in this email.
