My hot take is that the SF movie will be a cult classic years from now. Most complaints from the FGC about the SF movie come down to characters being misrepresented. Just a reminder that this was your Raiden in the highly praised MK1. 0 fight scenes btw.

It’s funny that the original MK film is the gold standard for fighting game movies but it holds a 44% on RT. SF is sitting at 42%. A 2% difference and somehow one is a classic and the other is trash. Make it make sense.

Twitter FGC would have you believe nothing matters. Matchups don't matter anymore. Fundamentals don't matter anymore. Frame data doesn't matter anymore. Then you wonder why people play the way they do while y'all in the back working on the exact things you said didn't matter.

Love SFV but the combo expression thing is a myth. Biggest complaint about that game was everyone running the same optimal combo every time. Drive mechanic fixes all of that by default. Now mixups? That's a different conversation . SFV had some real creativity there.

I’ve been saying this for a while but the modern FGC NEEDS stuff like this man, let me yap for a second. Beef sets where it’s settled in the game, there’s a clear history behind the two, shit talk and build up, stream was on someone’s phone And most importantly: NOTHING OFFICIAL ABOUT THIS!! No commercial breaks from capcom, no event slot with commentators and goofy ass video edits like leffen vs chillin, real ass non PC trash talk! This was GRASS ROOTS at its most pure! Love it
