Replying to @DonutOperator
" Hi... your probably wondering how i got here" 🤣
My biggest concern is that if there is a clean sweep by Democrats of the House, Senate and Presidency in 2028, they will:
1. Make DC and Puerto Rico states to gain a strong majority in the Senate.
2. Open the borders and legalize everyone living in America illegally to cement a permanent majority.
3. Increase the size of the Supreme Court to gain an immediate majority.
This would result in America becoming a permanent one-party state and the end of democracy in any meaningful sense of the word.
All that is needed to ensure this doesn’t happen is 51 Republican senators in 2029. That is why you should vote for Republican senators this election. Other reasons are irrelevant compared to this one.

Security called me at 6:12 AM today.
"Patch every PHP server immediately."
I asked what happened.
"Two critical vulnerabilities. Remote code execution. No authentication required."
Cool.
How many PHP servers do we have?
According to inventory: 12
According to reality:
Nobody knows.
We found one running WordPress.
Three running old internal tools.
One under someone's desk.
Two inside vendor appliances.
A forgotten employee directory from 2016.
And a server named:
PHP-OLD-DO-NOT-TOUCH
Naturally, that one runs payroll exports.
Then we found a PHP 5.6 box.
I asked who owned it.
The documentation said:
BRIAN.
Brian left in 2019.
We called Brian.
He said:
"Oh wow, that's still running?"
Excellent.
By 8 AM, leadership joined the incident call.
CEO:
"Can hackers actually get in?"
Security:
"Potentially yes."
CEO:
"Without a password?"
Security:
"Yes."
CEO:
"Then why do WE need passwords?"
Not the lesson.
Finance asked if we could wait until the weekend to patch because downtime affects revenue.
Security explained that the alternative was letting strangers execute code on our servers.
Finance asked for a cost comparison.
At 9:17, someone suggested temporarily taking the vulnerable websites offline.
Marketing refused.
"Our campaign is live."
So for the next hour, the company officially decided maintaining a landing page for 20% off webinar registration was more important than preventing remote server takeover.
We finally patched everything we could find.
Then our scanner discovered another PHP server.
Hostname:
TEMP-PHP-2014
Uptime:
4,512 days.
Nobody knows what it does.
Nobody owns it.
Nobody can shut it down.
But every time we block network access, the warehouse stops printing shipping labels.
Security has classified it as critical infrastructure.
It is running PHP 5.4.
The vulnerability has existed longer than half our employees.
The emergency patch took four hours.
Finding out what PHP actually runs took eleven.
The internet isn't held together with code.
It's held together with servers everyone is afraid to turn off.

Have I ever seen a storm with 120mph winds and no visible eye? I can't say that I have...but by the end of the day there probably is a looming credibility problem and given how things work. Anyone questioning it will have the credibility problem not the people in charge creating the credibility problem.

Guys, this is not a Cat 4 storm no matter how much you are rooting for it to be. In fact, I'd bet a lot of money we won't see Cat 3 verify (SUSTAINED 111+). This will be a category 2 impacts hurricane, which is still a very big deal. The wishcasting is getting a bit out of hand

An ISIS-inspired terrorist allegedly wanted to slaughter 30–60 innocent Americans at the Mall of America.
He got an AK-style rifle and 200 rounds.
He also got the FBI.
ARRESTED before he could hurt a single American.
This FBI doesn’t wait for terrorists to attack. We find them, disrupt them, and put them in handcuffs.
Outstanding work by our Minneapolis team.
We are staying on offense. America First. ALWAYS.

BREAKING: President Trump reacts after the FBI stops an alleged ISIS-inspired mass shooting plot targeting Minnesota’s Mall of America.
“The FBI did a great job.”
Federal prosecutors say 18-year-old Sheikhdoon Abdullahi Mohamud pledged allegiance to ISIS and allegedly planned to kill 30 to 60 people at an Oct. 24 event.
Authorities arrested Mohamud after he allegedly bought an AK-47 and 200 rounds of ammunition from an undercover FBI agent.
