A state of emergency has been declared in #DouroDummer. Crews are working hard to clear roadways and mitigate hazards.
Stay clear of all downed hydro lines and remain off the roadways as much as possible.
Thank you for your co-operation.

Bhangra at the Dawson City cabin of the Yukon’s legendary poet Robert Service.
110 years ago he probably would never have imagined that someone would dance Punjabi Bhangra at his cabin. Or maybe he did because a poet’s imagination is vast.

I’m not going anywhere. Should this place become more toxic, I pledge to strive even harder to lift up reason, science, compassion and the rule of law. The struggle against fascism, misinformation, and hate requires tough fighters. I hope you stay in the fight, right beside me.

I have spent every day for the last month or so placing traumatized people from an actual war zone into host families. Their friends & neighbours have been murdered, raped & tortured by Russian forces. So the people claiming that "Trudeau is a tyrant" can just fuck right off.
