AI could be the solution to bias and inequity rather than the problem! I asked gender economist @KaticaRoy about it. She said AI could close the equity gap in 10 years, not 130, like common estimates say. Podcast: cultureadvantagepodcast.com

300,000 Black women pushed out of the US workforce in 3 months. I asked gender economist @KaticaRoy how it's happening, impact, how it is related to other gender equity issues, what we should do about it. Podcast: cultureadvantagepodcast.com/

For a race to be left out of most lists is racist, which is a form of a microaggression. Or—as I prefer @docjana_ and @MichaelDBaran’s reframing—it’s a SAE: a “subtle act of exclusion.” Here is their list of types of subtle acts of exclusion:

In a recent conversation with someone I respect, they said something that unexpectedly infuriated and then energized me for the rest of the day. They said, “Would you be open to some advice?” A thread 🧵

We believe in connecting people and ideas to create a world that works for all. Each of these books has that value at its very core, and all would be an affirming choice to pick up during #PrideMonth. @twiffanyjana @MichaelDBaran @robertwfuller @maryfwinters @jenniferbrown

Went to an Atlanta Braves game in 1992 and was horrified at the "tomahawk chop." Almost 30 years later and still doing it? @Braves time for change. forbes.com/sites/terencemoor…
