Great to see Peter Jackson, a longtime @JBPrimary parent on the Apprentice You’re Fired tonight. A toy expert! Now there’s a great job!!
Bedtime routine done. Reading book gone over in great detail! Managed to get some ordering of numbers squeezed in and now the reading response book needs to be filled in!!!!! I’ll go back to work for a rest!!
Good luck to you all! Crossing my fingers for you!
A wee update from the team. So excited and looking forward to tomorrow @Greenpowertrust international final @SilverstoneUK @WestCollScot @invacad @DYWWEST @StuMcMillanSNP @JohnSwinney @rivclydehomes @CCG_Scotland @AmazonUK @CalMacFerries @clydesdalebank
Enjoying the school run today. That pupil who was all over SM who came out of school with their uniform all over the place has nothing on Ishaq! A day learning outdoors and in is never going to be a clean experience!!

And we’re off no more sleeps to the international @Greenpowertrust final @SilverstoneUK - for one of our team it’s their first ever time being on a train. What an experience, see you soon @Colin_Engineer @inverclyde @invacad @rivclydehomes

When it was suggested that I buy a kit car for the school, I never thought it would be as successful as this! At Inverclyde Academy we speak of education in it's widest sense, and no one could doubt that these boys have taken their learning to a new level. #veryproudheadteacher

Good grief. Nothing says ‘we don’t do formative assessment very well here’ like a triangulated data tracker that uses made up language. This one hurts, it really does.

Ended wk 8 with a visit to the wonderful Kilmacolm PS. The tour with senior pupils and HT was superb. What a stunning learning env, including the new nursery outdoor classroom! Afternoon tea with the pupil council and then we spotted another Inverclyde rainbow. Loving my job!!
A very enjoyable 3 days spent at Newark PS on their review team. Great to be part of the validation of their SE. Great conversations about how we can move closer to a peer review model in future and streamline the process. Great school with such a positive, nurturing ethos!
