"Dear friends, may no adversity paralyze you. Be afraid neither of the world, nor of the future, nor of your weakness. The Lord has allowed you to live in this moment of history so that, by your faith, his name will continue to resound throughout the world." - Pope Benedict XVI

55 years ago today, Roy O. Disney delivered the dedication speech for Walt Disney World Resort.
It was great to meet you too! Thanks for being another great Disney buddy and sharing your adventures with all of us.
Awesome to meet @MichaelHalbrook and his son Thomas tonight in Epcot! They both ran all three races! Way to go guys!
Hello, @Frozone_n_Storm. I was talking about Tokyo Disney with @disneytipsguy and he recommended you. Nice to meet you.
Half Marathon finish line feeling. #rundisney Wine & Dine
Quick stop in Norway for my favorite morning carb load at EPCOT. Yours too, right @disneytipsguy 🤣

The midterm talking points are simple: costs are up, blame the other side.
The corrective isn't defending the status quo. It's going further:
→ Industrial policy that rebuilds communities
→ Subsidiarity in healthcare - how Catholic hospitals started
→ Energy dominance, not just independence
→ Structural reform, not just investigations

I'm grateful for a wonderful vision and encounter as I prayed my Holy Hour this morning. As I sat in prayer, I came upon our Blessed Mother and Saint Joseph. Just as Suzanne and I would occasionally have a family "group hug" with our boys, Mary encouraged me to join them in a family group hug. I stood as a child, one arm around Mary on my left and the other arm around Joseph to my right. And I just rested with my head bowed into our shared embrace. It was the deepest, most peaceful rest I could remember. And as I found myself feeling ready to come out of it and start the day, Mary simply and gently said, "Keep walking with us to Jesus." Keep walking with us to Jesus. Amen.
"Maintain the good customs of thy realm and abolish the bad. Be not covetous against thy people and do not burden them with taxes and imposts save when thou art in great need.
"In order to do justice and right to thy subjects, be upright and firm, turning neither to the right hand nor to the left, but always to what is just; and do thou maintain the cause of the poor until such a time as the truth is made clear.
"Give heed that thy servants and thy subjects live under thee in peace and uprightness. Especially maintain the good cities and commons of thy realm in the same estate and with the same franchises as they enjoyed under thy predecessors.
"Labor to free thy land from all vile iniquity, and especially strike down with all thy power evil swearing and heresy. Put down heresy so far as you can, and hold in especial abhorrence... all sorts of people who are hostile to the Faith, so that your land may be well purged of them, in such manner as, by the sage counsel of good people, may appear to you advisable."
- Saint King Louis IX’s Enseignements (instructions to his son Philip)
"What do you give at the offertory?"
That's the question I opened with this morning.
Not to make anyone uncomfortable. To set up a different question.

This is obviously incredibly cool and inspiring to the vast majority of people. If you don't know what it's "for", then you don't understand the future—or what a tech demo is.
I've been shocked and somewhat embarrassed at how quickly this type of technological prudishness and cynicism has spread among Catholics. Also glad to know I'm one of "those guys".
Even if I could afford the next gen Tesla, I couldn't afford the insurance... Still, excited for the future. #Someday

An old warehouse turned into a village of tiny homes? Okay, Minneapolis, we see you. 👀🏠
What used to be a warehouse is now Avivo Village, an indoor community where people who have been living on the street can have their own private space while working toward permanent housing.
Think: your own little space, privacy, somewhere safe to sleep AND access to support that helps you take the next step.
