While it saddens me that people died, I couldn't help but wonder if this was somehow done via nefarious hands. But further analysis shows, they were traveling through a thunderhead and when they got to the worst of it, got ice on the wings and that Lear model has had issues in the past with weak flaps. IDK if that was a factor, and with the wings being utterly disintegrated on impact, maybe the FAA won't ever know either. Rest in peace, dear souls. We pray for the surviving relatives.
