Prediction: Rafael Devers doesn’t finish his contract as a #RedSox.
Every adult happy crying was a child who never stopped believing. Only sports can give you these moments.
He's waited decades for this. He's never stopped believing. This is a dream come true.
Enjoy this clip. He's everybody's dad tonight.

I am deeply sad. Thank you, Sir, for sharing your incredible talent with us.

This may be very “Old man yells at cloud” or “Get off my lawn” of me but I miss the era of baseball where starting pitchers were allowed to be starters.
Six days ago BresBot said “no surgery was planned” for Durbin.
They failed to diagnose a fracture in Whitlock’s tibia.
When do the #RedSox start firing people for gross incompetence?
Can the #RedSox fire their entire medical team for how badly they’ve fumbled injuries lately?

MLB suspended Emmanuel Clase over gambling allegations and Pete Rose became baseball’s ultimate cautionary tale.
Now an active MLB player is partnering with a prediction market that MLB is reportedly considering a league-wide deal with.
You can understand why people might have questions about that.
Atlanta Braves outfielder Ronald Acuña Jr. has partnered with Kalshi, making him the first MLB player to venture into prediction markets.
Kalshi is also reportedly in talks with MLB for a leaguewide deal.

While we’re on the topic of things @MLB needs to change: “everyone plays everyone” needs to go.
154-game season: Yes
Opponent selection: No
ALDS is 7 games: No
Replace “opponent selection” with “reseeding” and “best of 7 LDS” with “leave it alone”
MLB has proposed returning to a 154-game Regular Season, best-of-seven Division Series, and opponent selection in the Wild Card and Division Series
Starting in 2029, shortening the season to a 154-game schedule would create a standard weekly off day benefiting player health, and it would allow the addition of up to 8 more Postseason games by moving to a best-of-seven Division Series format
Beginning in 2027, higher-seeded clubs in the Wild Card and Division Series would select their opponents

The fact that people cheered when he suggested that someone destroy Los Angeles and San Diego is really disappointing. I want to be surprised and appalled but instead I’m just disappointed.

If I had a nickel for every time a baseball hit a roof and then bounced down into a glove for an out in a 2026 Division Series Postseason game, I'd have two nickels.
Which isn't a lot, but it's crazy it happened twice.
3 errors within the first 4 batters of the inning. That’s WILD. I’m not sure I’ve ever seen that. #ALDS

11 years sober! One of the best decisions I ever made on this day in 2015. Grateful for everyone who has supported me along the way to regain control and wake up every day a better version of myself as a father, husband, and friend. For anyone out there battling, just know you’re not alone and please speak up. There is a light at the end of the tunnel 🙏🏾
Someone is digging their heels on on Breslow, asking flat out "At what point does is go from being a 'stated goal' to 'needing to be a reality.'" #RedSox
Whomever is grilling Craig about not getting external help to improve power numbers (keep it up, btw) is trying really hard not to mention Pete Alonso by name. #RedSox
I appreciate whomever just asked Chad and Craig how much front office sway/of a "script" the #RedSox postseason pitching plans were.
BresBot just said that the team is "in the initial stage of evaluating what the team needs to improve on."
This answer frustrates me. Evaluation should be an ongoing process. You had an entire season to look at the product and see what areas need improvement. #RedSox
