We live in a world of a SaaS Apocalypse flywheel, and we can't get off. The house always wins.
So now the UN will have to create “AI watchdogs”, and send them to China… sure this will work well.
We Must Pace the Frontier: I’ve written a new essay on why the AI industry should slow down, with a three-part plan for doing so.
Anthropic is unilaterally committing to the first of these steps. We’ll provide third-party evaluators with permanent, employee-level access to our systems, so that they can verify adherence to our safety measures, report on incidents, and assess models’ alignment during training.

I am so confused about $veev.
I get the SaaSpocalypse and friends. But come the fuck on people....
- They have a decent regulatory moat with Vault
- Their buyers are not super tech savvy (low risk for home growns)
- They are hard to rip out as they focus on the enterprise
- Their migration from Salesforce will be accelerated with Agentic Development
Maybe it’s pricing in SaaS multiple destruction across the board. But it can't be considered in the same bucket as Adobe, ServiceNow, etc.
Can someone start a Polymarket on which 30u30 founder will be accused/convicted of fraud? There might be one on every list.

Mr @NYCMayor,
I say it as an Iranian New Yorker: You are a human garbage.
When our people were getting slaughtered and hunted like animals by the Islamic Republic terrorists, you stayed silent. You didn't say a word. Now that the regime, the murderers of our people are under attack, you came out of the woodwork to defend them.
You are an Islamist human garbage and I fight your agenda as long as I breathe.
Today’s military strikes on Iran — carried out by the United States and Israel — mark a catastrophic escalation in an illegal war of aggression. Bombing cities. Killing civilians. Opening a new theater of war. Americans do not want this. They do not want another war in pursuit of regime change. They want relief from the affordability crisis. They want peace.
I am focused on making sure that every New Yorker is safe. I have been in contact with our Police Commissioner and emergency management officials. We are taking proactive steps, including increasing coordination across agencies and enhancing patrols of sensitive locations out of an abundance of caution.
Additionally, I want to speak directly to Iranian New Yorkers: you are part of the fabric of this city — you are our neighbors, small business owners, students, artists, workers, and community leaders. You will be safe here.
Hear me out - @AcquiredFM but for companies that committed fraud and completely blew up. The lineup is great:
- FTX
- Frank
- Theranos
- Nikola
- Celsius
- Outcome Health
Call it ZeroDPI?

F*** You, Kanye West 🖕
In recent days, Kanye West has once again crossed every possible red line. The man who previously declared "I am a Nazi", praised Hitler, and spread antisemitic conspiracy theories, used one of the biggest stages in the world – a Super Bowl commercial broadcast – to spread antisemitism and hate.
💥 How did he do it?
Immediately after his commercial aired, which supposedly led to his regular e-commerce site, he removed all products and left only one item – a white T-shirt with a swastika on it.
🚨 This is not a mistake, not a gimmick, and not "artistic provocation".
🚨 This is a deliberate incitement against Jews.
🚨 This is the normalization of Nazi symbols in front of tens of millions of people.
🚨 This is a call for violence disguised as pop culture.
✅ Fortunately, Elon Musk has already banned Kanye West’s account on Twitter/X.
❌ Unfortunately, Shopify – the platform through which West is selling these shirts – has yet to halt sales or respond.
⚠️ It’s time to stop staying silent and fight back against antisemites like Kanye West in the strongest way possible.
⚠️ Social media platforms must stop giving a stage to antisemitism and hate.
⚠️ We must apply economic and public pressure and remove people like West from every platform they use to spread their poison.
⚠️ We must stop treating Kanye West as a spectacle or a gimmick – he is dangerous, and it's time the world treats him as such.

A thread of some of the most harrowing images from the Holocaust that everyone needs to see, lest we forget
1. Two workers showing their liberators what their work was like in a crematorium at Dachau, May 1945. Sonderkommandos were work units made up of German Nazi death camp prisoners. They were composed of prisoners, usually Jews, who were forced, on threat of their own deaths, to aid with the disposal of gas chamber victims.

.@Columbia University capitulated today to Hamas supporters.
(a long thread with videos)
(tldr; it's a shit show)
Predicted the round pretty well... I would guess a lot of the investment comes in the form of access to hardware (that both a16z and Sequoia already purchased).
Replying to @pitdesi
$1B on $5B post. Only $100M coming from VCs. The other 90% are from Nvidia and Oracle.
I am building an AI-enabled Security product that can be pitched with any buzzword you want (LLMs, Agents, etc.).
After speaking to over 200 buyers (and converting a few to early adopters), there are a few things that stood out:
1. Companies are hungry for AI-enabled solutions. They understand the potential for productivity unlocks, especially in workflows that are based on a lot of unstructured data.
2. No one cares about the fancy AI infra you use, they care about the problems you solve for them. Narrow solutions work well as a starting point.
3. Keeping a human in the loop to validate results is key. Most companies don't trust AI for full automation.
4. To have a real business case, the efficiency gains have to be huge so that keeping a human in the loop is worth their while.
5. Companies are still hesitant to adopt products based on an AI stack. Security is key to alleviating these concerns.
Such an interesting antitrust approach. We saw this before with Inflection & $MSFT deal.
Here how this probably looks like:
- Restructure company so only preferred holders get dividends
- License the tech for 2x/3x amount invested
- Hire the key talent and give them “exit level” packages and let them build similar IP inhouse
- Distribute dividends
Everyone is happy, and antitrust can’t touch it.
This class action was expected. $CRWD has a lot of work to do.
The fact that it came from Plymouth Country Retirement Association is hilarious 🤣
