The ban had been imposed last November after an audit found grant violations, including inconsistent migrant data and billing beyond the 45 day federal limit. DHS had sought a six-year debarment, but after the charity met with officials in Washington and signed an administrative agreement, the freeze was lifted and they’re eligible for federal grants again.
