Dr. Rachna Dave, who holds a doctorate in Microbiology at New York University, quit a flourishing career at @IndiaBARC to start MicroGo in 2016, along with Deepa Avinash and Deepthi Subbaraya. MicroGo offers a range of seven innovative products across three patented categories in India, including an IoT-powered hand hygiene station, a water treatment system, and a surgical instrument sterilizer. MicroGo has won several accolades, including the Outstanding Woman Entrepreneur award at the India International Science Festival 2020. The biotech company currently operates in Chennai, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Kolkata, Delhi, Mumbai, and Gujarat, and plans to launch its products for B2B partners in the country’s food, hospitality, and healthcare sectors. By 2025, MicroGO aims to launch a post-harvest management solution for perishable fruits and vegetables.
