BIG NEWS: The Middle Seat Union just officially ratified our new contract, securing wins to continue making Middle Seat the best workplace in the biz 😉 🧵
We won a new annual raise structure, guaranteeing yearly salary increases for EVERY worker while implementing a structure to reward high-performers.
From a new childcare benefit, to additional PTO days, to AI protections, to more, there’s so much to celebrate.
We couldn't be more excited to enter into this next chapter alongside our partners at @CWG_Workers and @MiddleSeatCo . Solidarity! 🌹 ✊

🚨 BREAKING: The Teamsters Union has launched the largest strike against Amazon in U.S. history. 🚨
Amazon has forced this strike by refusing to follow the law and bargain with the thousands of Amazon workers who organized with the Teamsters.
Now, Amazon Teamsters at facilities across the country will be striking, including primary picket lines at hundreds of Amazon Fulfillment Centers nationwide.

This week has had a lot of pretty hard days for us, Mike. You just laid off a slew of union workers on your team. Did you consider that before tweeting this?
There is already far too much distrust in the political process, and tools like this will only exacerbate that problem.
AI for political fundraising emails is fundamentally a horrible idea.
It's anti-worker and anti-progressive to use the work of skilled practitioners to train an AI model that will eventually kill their jobs.

For the past month we've engaged management in decision and effects bargaining over their proposed reorganization and layoffs on the technical side of @ActBlue, and we are proud to have won both a reduction in the number of roles to be eliminated as well as a recall provision.

very sad to share this past week I was impacted by layoffs in the progressive space. I'm extremely proud of the work I've done, and you can check it out here: surbhichawla.cargo.site ✨
I'm looking for full time design work! If you're interested in chatting, drop me a line 😁
We are disappointed that a permanent reduction in force was deemed necessary by the leadership of Middle Seat despite the alternative proposals we presented. And we are heartbroken to lose so many of our comrades — along with their talent, their passion, and their friendship.

no words can encompass the gratitude i feel to work with the best in the biz. 💕 solidarity with this team always and forever ✊
These awards are well-deserved recognition of the talent, skill, and strategy of the workers of Middle Seat. We’re so proud of all the members of our Unit — our labor is the backbone of this agency and we're honored by the recognition.
We’re adding 5 of @C_and_E’s Reed Awards to the trophy case – including Digital Agency of the Year.
So proud of our best-in-the-biz team! ✨
