Dear @NFL, I promise reading this will be worth your time. My biggest passion is to lead others through the hardships of life to the best version of themselves, and I fervently believe football is the vehicle that will help me do that the best. With 25 years of media experience, and over a decade each as a teacher and football coach, I know my personal and professional experience will yield increasing value to your team, no matter the position. Put it this way: What is it worth to you to have an empathetic communicator with perpetual resilience and diverse experience on your team? You may say, "Thanks Mike, but we don't see a fit right now." To that, I'd say, "You can never have enough good people on your team." I have tremendous respect for what you all, and the people who've come before you, have built. I have firm confidence I can help the team grow even more. As demographics, initiatives, contracts, and policies evolve, you will need a constant. I'm ready to get to work. Today. Boldy and with thanks, Mike Fast @TroyVincentSr @NFLprguy @NFLMedia

So many people focusing on Lamar, but I'm over here getting my popcorn ready for Ioane vs. Lawrence @GordonNFL

"Ravens are making some strange moves. This does not reek of Eric DeCosta. Somebody else has got their hand on this... This is not usual Baltimore Ravens stuff." #RavensFlock - @SolomonsWisdom

For most coaches, if you net things out, they lose money coaching! Yet, for the majority of us, we don't even think about that because of the calling we have on our hearts.
Every time I see this video it hits different. This is real talk. Players take everything so personal instead of actually taking the coaching and knowing that coaches really have their back

What are the seating capacities for those stadiums?
Instead of playing a bunch of NFL games overseas, we should focus on having NFL games in states and cities that don’t have a team. A few cities that come to mind are… • Salt Lake City, UT • Austin, TX • Bozeman, MT • Fargo, ND Prioritize the United States! 🇺🇸

Yaxel Lenderborg on his NBA debut and guarding Luka: "I got to see what the NBA is like, man. Lot of flopping, lot of foul baiting, lot of praying to the ref. Interesting first game for me... Being in there firsthand, just watching all the whining and complaining, I lost all respect. That was awful" Transcript of this soundbite: "Yeah, it was interesting. I got to see what the NBA is like, man. Lot of flopping, lot of foul baiting, lot of praying to the ref. Interesting first game for me, for sure. I had a lot of respect for him (Luka). You know, just watching. I didn't really watch the NBA much, I just watched highlights. Seeing him, you know, kill people all the time. But then being in there firsthand, just watching all the whining and complaining, I lost all respect, man. Like that was awful. Like me getting frustrated, it's not about the foul being called, it's about him complaining the entire game. And then you get the foul call, congratulations bro. And then you talk to me like you did something great, bro? Come on, dog. That's just weak. It kinda threw me off for a little while, cause you know, like I said, I had so much respect for him. Gone man, gone. I was telling him he sucks, he can't score on me. You talking and you can't score on me. I said it the whole game. I said a couple cuss words obviously, you know, that's why I got the technical and all that. But I was letting him know, because he was laughing and talking all this because of that one foul call. His only bucket on me was a banker from half court. Like I know that it's a team sport. You know, he had 28pts on us as a team. Me, I took my matchup personally. Tried not to get caught on the fouls. Tried my best. I was thinking about playing him with my hands behind my back to see if that worked, probably would've still got a foul call." Transcript via: reddit.com/r/nba/comments/1x…

For @testudotimes, @JudeWilkenfeld and I were outside Jones-Hill House trying to get players to comment. An athletics staffer took pictures of us, and a police dispatch was called for suspicious activity; a cop and 2 cop cars pulled up, and officers ID’d us and asked us to leave.

If he misses this week, which is what it feels like will happen, Lamar will have missed seven games in the last year and a half. That’s 30 percent of games since the beginning of 2025. I’m not blaming him, but I’m saying the best player on your team can’t miss so many games if the team still expects to contend for a championship. For the third year now, I’m asking the Ravens to please draft a backup quarterback so this risk can be mitigated.
No sign of Ravens QB Lamar Jackson at the start of Wednesday’s practice.

You can’t say Jerry Rice, Randy Moss, Terrell Owens, or Calvin Johnson. You’re down 5 with 5 seconds left in the Super Bowl. Name a receiver you’re trusting to catch the game-winning touchdown.

Here we go... just give every player a trophy!!!!
NEW: The Heisman Trophy Trust has voted to introduce a separate Heisman Trophy for defensive players. If approved, two Heisman Trophies will be awarded annually: One to the nation’s top offensive player and one to the top defensive player.

Sources: Maryland coach Mike Locksley has been dismissed. Maryland dropped to 2-5 on Saturday after a last-second loss to Rutgers. Locksley is 39-54 overall at Maryland, including his interim stint in 2015. Maryland is on a bye this week.

That’s malpractice, and unnecessary.
Colorado State’s HC says his new defensive coordinator has been SLEEPING at the facility: “Kenny hasn’t been home in two weeks… We took our LB’s office and turned it into a bedroom.”
